The Gaslighting of the Masses

For students of official propaganda, mind control, emotional coercion, and other insidious manipulation techniques, the rollout of the New Normal has been a bonanza. Never before have we been able to observe the application and effects of these powerful technologies in real-time on such a massive scale.

In a little over two and a half years, our collective тАЬrealityтАЭ has been radically revised. Our societies have been radically restructured. Millions (probably billions) of people have been systematically conditioned to believe a variety of patently ridiculous assertions, assertions based on absolutely nothing, repeatedly disproved by widely available evidence, but which have nevertheless attained the status of facts. An entire fictitious history has been written based on those baseless and ridiculous assertions. It will not be unwritten easily or quickly.

I am not going to waste your time debunking those assertions. They have been repeatedly, exhaustively debunked. You know what they are and you either believe them or you donтАЩt. Either way, reviewing and debunking them again isnтАЩt going to change a thing.

Instead, I want to focus on one particularly effective mind-control technology, one that has done a lot of heavy lifting throughout the implementation of the New Normal and is doing a lot of heavy-lifting currently. I want to do that because many people mistakenly believe that mind-control is either (a) a тАЬconspiracy theoryтАЭ or (b) something that can only be achieved with drugs, microwaves, surgery, torture, or some other invasive physical means. Of course, there is a vast and well-documented history of the use of such invasive physical technologies (see, e.g., the history of the CIAтАЩs infamous MKULTRA program), but in many instances mind-control can be achieved through much less elaborate techniques.

One of the most basic and effective techniques that cults, totalitarian systems, and individuals with fascistic personalities use to disorient and control peopleтАЩs minds is тАЬgaslighting.тАЭ YouтАЩre probably familiar with the term. If not, here are a few definitions:

тАЬthe manipulation of another person into doubting their perceptions, experiences, or understanding of events.тАЭAmerican Psychological Association

тАЬan insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity.тАЭPsychology Today

тАЬa form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victimтАЩs mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition.тАЭNewport Institute

The main goal of gaslighting is to confuse, coerce, and emotionally manipulate your victim into abandoning their own perception of reality and accepting whatever new тАЬrealityтАЭ you impose on them. Ultimately, you want to completely destroy their ability to trust their own perception, emotions, reasoning, and memory of historical events, and render them utterly dependent on you to tell them what is real and what тАЬreallyтАЭ happened, and so on, and how they should be feeling about it.

Anyone who has ever experienced gaslighting in the context of an abusive relationship, or a cult, or a totalitarian system, or who has worked in a battered womenтАЩs shelter, can tell you how powerful and destructive it is. In the most extreme cases, the victims of gaslighting are entirely stripped of their sense of self and surrender their individual autonomy completely. Among the best-known and most dramatic examples are the Patty Hearst case, Jim JonesтАЩ PeopleтАЩs Temple, the Manson family, and various other cults, but, the truth is, gaslighting happens every day, out of the spotlight of the media, in countless personal and professional relationships.

Since the Spring of 2020, we have been subjected to official gaslighting on an unprecedented scale. In a sense, the тАЬApocalyptic PandemicтАЭ PSYOP has been one big extended gaslighting campaign (comprising countless individual instances of gaslighting) inflicted on the masses throughout the world. The events of this past week were just another example.

Basically, what happened was, a Pfizer executive confirmed to the European Parliament last Monday that Pfizer did not know whether its Covid тАЬvaccineтАЭ prevented transmission of the virus before it was promoted as doing exactly that and forced on the masses in December of 2020. People saw the video of the executive admitting this, or heard about it, and got upset.

They tweeted and Facebooked and posted videos of Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, Bill Gates, the Director of the CDC, official propagandists like Rachel Maddow, and various other тАЬexpertsтАЭ and тАЬauthoritiesтАЭ blatantly lying to the public, promising people that getting тАЬvaccinatedтАЭ would тАЬprevent transmission,тАЭ тАЬprotect other people from infection,тАЭ тАЬstop the virus in its tracks,тАЭ and so on, which totally baseless assertions (i.e., lies) were the justification for the systematic segregation and persecution of тАЬthe Unvaccinated,тАЭ and the fomenting of mass fanatical hatred of anyone challenging the official тАЬvaccineтАЭ narrative, and the official New Normal ideology, which hatred persists to this very day.

The New Normal propaganda apparatus (i.e., the corporate media, health тАЬexperts,тАЭ et al.) responded to the story predictably. They ignored it, hoping it would just go away. When it didnтАЩt, they rolled out the тАЬfact-checkersтАЭ (i.e., gaslighters).

The Associated PressReutersPolitiFact, and other official gaslighting outfits immediately published lengthy official тАЬfact-checksтАЭ that would make a sophist blush. Read them and you will see what I mean. They are perfect examples of official gaslighting, crafted to distract you from the point and suck you into an argument over meaningless details and definitions. They sound exactly like Holocaust deniers pathetically asserting that there is no written proof that Hitler ordered the Final Solution тАж which, there isnтАЩt, but it doesnтАЩt fucking matter. Of course Hitler ordered the Final Solution, and of course they lied about the тАЬvaccines.тАЭ

The Internet is swimming with evidence of their lies тАж tweets, videos, articles, and so on.

Which is what makes gaslighting so frustrating for people who believe they are engaged in an actual good-faith argument over facts and the truth. But thatтАЩs not how totalitarianism works. The New Normals, when they repeat whatever the authorities have instructed them to repeat today (e.g., тАЬtrust the Science,тАЭ тАЬsafe and effective,тАЭ тАЬno one ever claimed they would prevent transmissionтАЭ), could not care less whether it is actually true, or even if it makes the slightest sense.

These gaslighting тАЬfact-checksтАЭ are not meant to convince them that anything is true or false. And they are certainly not meant to convince us. They are official scripts, talking points, and thought-terminating clich├йs for the New Normals to repeat, like cultists chanting mantras at you to shut off their minds and block out anything that contradicts or threatens the тАЬrealityтАЭ of the cult.

You can present them with the actual facts, and they will smile knowingly, and deny them to your face, and condescendingly mock you for not тАЬseeing the truth.тАЭ

But hereтАЩs the tricky thing about gaslighting.

In order to effectively gaslight someone, you have be in a position of authority or wield some other form of power over them. They have to need something vital from you (i.e., sustenance, safety, financial security, community, career advancement, or just love). You canтАЩt walk up to some random stranger on the street and start gaslighting them. They will laugh in your face.

The reason the New Normal authorities have been able to gaslight the masses so effectively is that most of the masses do need something from them тАж a job, food, shelter, money, security, status, their friends, a relationship, or whatever it is theyтАЩre not willing to risk by challenging those in power and their lies. Gaslighters, cultists, and power freaks, generally, know this. It is what they depend on, your unwillingness to live without whatever it is. They zero in on it and threaten you with the loss of it (sometimes consciously, sometimes just intuitively).

Gaslighting wonтАЩt work if you are willing to give up whatever the gaslighter is threatening to take from you (or stop giving you, as the case may be), but you have to be willing to actually lose it, because you will be punished for defending yourself, for not surrendering your autonomy and integrity, and conforming to the тАЬrealityтАЭ of the cult, or the abusive relationship, or the totalitarian system.

I have described the New Normal (i.e., our new тАЬrealityтАЭ) as pathologized-totalitarianism, and as a тАЬa cult writ large, on a societal scale.тАЭ I used the тАЬCovidian CultтАЭ analogy because every totalitarian system essentially operates like a cult, the main difference being that, in totalitarian systems, the balance of power between the cult and the normal (i.e., dominant) society is completely inverted. The cult becomes the dominant (i.e., тАЬnormalтАЭ) society, and non-cult-members become its тАЬdeviants.тАЭ

We do not want to see ourselves as тАЬdeviantsтАЭ (because we havenтАЩt changed, the society has), and our instinct is to reject the label, but that is exactly what we are тАж deviants. People who deviate from the norm, a new norm, which we reject, and oppose, but which, despite that, is nonetheless the norm, and thus we are going to be regarded and dealt with like deviants.

I am such a deviant. I have a feeling you are too. Under the circumstances, itтАЩs nothing to be ashamed of. On the contrary, we need to accept it, and embrace it. Above all, we need to get clear about it, about where we stand in this new тАЬreality.тАЭ

We are heading toward New Normal Winter No. 3. They are already cranking up the official propaganda, jacking up the fabricated тАЬcases,тАЭ talking about reintroducing mask-mandates, fomenting mass hatred of тАЬthe Unvaccinated,тАЭ and so on. PeopleтАЩs gas bills and doubling and tripling. The global-capitalist ruling classes are openly embracing neo-Nazis. There is talk of тАЬlimitedтАЭ nuclear war. Fanaticism, fear, and hatred abound. The gaslighting of the masses is not abating. It is increasing. The suppression of dissent is intensifying. The demonization of non-conformity is intensifying. Lines are being drawn in the sand. You see it and feel it just like I do.

Get clear on whatтАЩs essential to you. Get clear about what youтАЩre willing to lose. Stay deviant. Stay frosty. This isnтАЩt over.

Consider the Chickens

Intelligence, ethics, and the inner lives of animals

By Rafia Zakaria

Source: The Baffler

I OWE CHICKENS AN APOLOGY. Not only have I been eating them until very recently, but I have refused to even consider the possibility of a chicken having any kind of inner life. This estimation was not made from a lack of interaction. As children, my twin brother and I purchased baby chicks from a street vendor. We did this unfazed by the fact that quite often, the chickens would die. Once, when we were nine, we had two that lived, a hen and a rooster. No one told us that we should probably get more hens. Not having any other female companions, the rooster exerted his attentions on the one chicken. She would lay an egg or two every day, much to our delight, but soon sickened and died. Then there was only an incel rooster who roamed our compound and terrorized the women. After a few ugly incidents, he was тАЬgiven awayтАЭ to one of the women who worked at our house. We were never told what happened to him, and I didnтАЩt care. There is nothing worse than an incel rooster patrolling your house all day long.

Now, so many years later, IтАЩve found my way to animal behaviorist Justin GreggтАЩs brilliant new book If Nietzsche Were a Narwhal: What Animal Intelligence Reveals About Human Stupidity. GreggтАЩs chicken coop is тАЬa huge enclosed areaтАЭ with high rafters, because as an animal scientist, he knows them to be jungle birds who need perches on which to sleep at night. But it is not only the magisterial heights of GreggтАЩs discussion of chickens that stayed with me. I was struck also by GreggтАЩs description of his chickensтАЩ varied personalities, one anxious, another friendly, and so on; he tells us that these chickens do have inner lives and thus a consciousness of themselves as distinct from others. Instead of the feckless creatures I (and most people) assume them to be, chickens have just the sort of intelligence that is necessary for their own survival. They donтАЩt think like humans, Gregg tells us, because they do not need to.

Intelligence, in GreggтАЩs explanation, does not exist in the way SATs or other IQ tests would have you believe. Those tests quantify a certain kind of ability to process information. People who do not do well on such tests may have other kinds of abilities that simply are not being measured. Intelligence is not one easily definable thing; engineers working on artificial intelligence cannot agree on a definition of it. But what humans have is a tendency to ask why things operate in a certain way. In GreggтАЩs terminology, humans are тАЬwhy specialists,тАЭ a proclivity that in natural selection terms is no advantage and perhaps even a liability. A narwhal swimming around in the sea, for instance, would never have the kind of mental breakdown that the German philosopher pondering nihilism suffered toward the end of his life. Animal intelligence is practical and does not get caught up in abstract thought. By and large, animals make calculations based on what they can observe; ideas such as тАЬcausality,тАЭ which lie at the crux of human intelligence, are outside their capacity for thought.

Humans evolved to become why specialists. As Gregg tells it, 200,000 years ago, humans were hanging out with chimpanzees and exhibited no interest in the whys. They could make rudimentary tools and had some kind of assemblage of grunts that allowed for basic communication. He notes that roughly 40,000 years ago, cave paintings were created. Here were humans asking the whys; symbolic representation is an exclusively human thing.

Inability to be why specialists does not mean that animals are not capable of тАЬmetacognition,тАЭ the ability to be conscious of their own thinking or cognition. One of the most stunning examples in this book full of stunning examples is that of Natua, a dolphin at the Dolphin Research Center in Florida. An experiment was set up where Natua was exposed to two kinds of sounds, one a very high tone and one a very low tone. After hearing the sound, Natua had to choose between two paddles, one for the high and another for the low. If he chose correctly, he was given a fish for a reward. If he did not, he was sent for a long time-out, in that the experiment stopped. As the experiment progressed, the high tone sound came very close to the low sound such that they were nearly indistinguishable. At this point, Natua was unable to tell the difference; тАЬhe just started randomly pressing paddles,тАЭ Gregg writes. His behavior proved that some animals are capable of metacognition, the awareness that they do not know, or that their thinking about something is wrong.

It is no surprise that Gregg is pessimistic about how humans have used their abilities as why specialists, and he thinks that there is a chance that humans might not even survive over another century. The prospect of nuclear war and the climate crisis suggest, in GreggтАЩs view, that the end is possible. In the meantime, developing a consciousness of animals as beings who are capable of metacognition, of having individual personalities and so on, points to the need for a new ethics. This new set of basic premises would abandon the centering principle that the animal-human relationship must always be of one having dominion over the other.

But if you consider the continued resistance to the idea of animal rights, it is hard to be optimistic about the emergence of a new ethics of mutuality that eschews the dominion portion. Too many human rationalizations, attached to what we eat, what we wear, how we live, are predicated on the belief that we are the only feeling beings and that our actions upon animals are independent of consequences. If you know the fear of a chicken or a cow or a pig about to be slaughtered, you may look at your food in a different way. You might eschew fried chicken or beef or pork completely. If you understand that a horse being whipped is suffering terribly, is extremely scared and dissolute, you can also understand that there is a need for a radical expansion of mindfulness and a concomitant shrinking of power.

In the moral universe informed by GreggтАЩs argument, the survival of the human race is not an imperative for the planet because humans as a species have been far more disastrous for the world than others. тАЬPrognostic myopiaтАЭ keeps us horribly and condemnably in the moment, burning fossil fuels and trashing the oceans even though we know that it is terrible for the environment. This is a unique position among philosophers, a lot of whom have lately concerned themselves with questions of ethics and planetary survival.

As a contrast to Gregg, the Oxford Associate Professor in Philosophy William MacAskill, in his What We Owe the Future, proposes тАЬeffective altruismтАЭ as a way to live ethically in times of climate crisis. If Gregg argues against human exceptionalism, MacAskill reduces humans to data points, where the survival of the most, and the most benefit to the planet, are guideposts to a present and future ethics. Using GreggтАЩs arguments, however, effective altruism is rendered meaningless. Even those who live sparingly on twenty-six thousand pounds a year, like MacAskill, are still a burdensome threat, unless we define their worth according to tiresome illusions of human exceptionalism.

If Nietzsche Were A Narwhal is the sort of critical look at human dominion that our world needs. A few years ago, Brown University environmental historian Bathsheba R. Demuth wrote Floating Coast: An Environmental History of the Bering Strait, a similarly groundbreaking look at the consequences of the extractive relationship humans have had with the environment. Just as Gregg reveals the risks of humans imagining their power over animals as shorn of consequences, Demuth reveals the consequences of human dominion over nature.

Thinkers and scientists like Gregg and Demuth are presenting readers with the urgent and pressing necessity for a new ethics. The unthinking, extractive, and dominant human treats animals as a lower form of existence, rather than a different form; we assess the environment based on what can be extracted from it. Like our means of communication, our means of travel, of treating disease, and so much else, our ethics need an urgent and pressing update that takes into consideration the understanding of animals. Factory farms, the constant consumption of animal products, and the greedy use of fossil fuels are the seeds of destruction.

I am not sure I could have offered the chicken and rooster of my childhood a deluxe chicken coop with high rafters, but an argument for better living conditions and the introduction of new companions for the rooster would have been easier if we had understood the first thing about the animals around us. I do not need to underscore the rapid pace at which our world is changing. If Nietzsche Were A Narwhal is a must-read because it explains how we can save the world only if we exist in symbiosis with the thinking, feeling creatures that have had the misfortune of sharing the planet with humans, who turn out not to be as intelligent as they believe themselves to be.

The Biotech Plan To Destroy Us

By Llewellyn H. Rockwell, Jr.

Source: LewRockwell.com

Covid has generated a great of controversy, but one thing canтАЩt be doubted. Covid, and the misguided attempts to combat it, have wreaked havoc since March 2022.  How was the Covid virus created? An answer, devastating in its implications, has just come to light. (Thanks to the heroic Ron Unz for tipping us off on this). What youтАЩre about to read sounds like something you would expect from one of our authors at LRC, authors whom the Left is quick to dismiss as тАЬconspiracy theorists.тАЭ But the person weтАЩre talking about has impeccable leftwing credentials. HeтАЩs the economist Jeffrey Sachs, famous for his work on тАЬsustainable developmentтАЭ and тАЬthird-world poverty.тАЭ You couldnтАЩt miss reading about him in the mainstream mediaтАФat least until recently.

In an interview published online in Current Affairs, on August 22, тАЬProf. Sachs explains how he, as the head of the COVID-19 commission for a leading medical journal, [The Lancet] came to the conclusion that powerful actors were preventing a real investigation from taking place. He also explains why it is so important to get to the bottom of the origins of COVID: because, he says, there is extremely dangerous research taking place with little accountability, and the public has a right to know since we are the ones whose lives are being put at risk without our consent. тАЬ

The тАЬofficialтАЭ view is that the Covid virus was an accident that came from contaminated animal parts in the Wuhan market in China. Sachs suggests that studies that purport to confirm this account have been faked. тАЬWell, the funny thing is those scientists who are saying that said the same thing on February 4, 2020, before they had done any research at all. And they published the same statement in March 2020, before they had any facts at all. So theyтАЩre creating a narrative. And theyтАЩre denying the alternative hypothesis without looking closely at it. ThatтАЩs the basic point. тАЬ

ThatтАЩs the тАЬofficialтАЭ truth, in other words the government lies, about Covid. What does Sachs think was really going on? тАЬThe alternative hypothesis is quite straightforward. And that is that there was a lot of research underway in the United States and China on taking SARS-like viruses, manipulating them in the laboratory, and creating potentially far more dangerous viruses. And the particular virus that causes COVID-19, called SARS-Cov-2, is notable because it has a piece of its genetic makeup that makes the virus more dangerous. And that piece of the genome is called the тАШfurin cleavage site.тАЩ Now, whatтАЩs interesting, and concerning if I may say so, is that the research that was underway very actively and being promoted, was to insert furin cleavage sites into SARS-like viruses to see what would happen. Oops!тАЭ

It gets worse. The тАЬscientistsтАЭ who published the тАЬaccidental market mishapтАЭ theory knew it was false, but they circulated this lie to cover up biotech research they didnтАЩt want disturbed. тАЬAt the beginning, which we could date from the first phone call of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) with a group of virologists on February 1, 2020, the virologists said тАШOh my god, that is strange, that could well be a laboratory creation. What is that furin cleavage site doing in there?тАЩ Because scientists knew that was part of an active ongoing research program. And yet, by February 3, the same group is saying тАШNo, no, itтАЩs natural, itтАЩs natural.тАЩ By February 4, they start to draft the papers that are telling the public, тАШDonтАЩt worry, itтАЩs natural.тАЩ By March, they write a paperтАФtotally spurious, in my viewтАФcalled the proximal origins paper that is the most cited bio paper in 2020. It said: it is absolutely natural. [Note: the paperтАЩs conclusion is тАШwe do not believe that any type of laboratory-based scenario is plausible.тАЩ] But they didnтАЩt have any of the data that you read about in the New York Times. They didnтАЩt have any of this. They just said the labs werenтАЩt working on this alternative. But you know what, they donтАЩt know what the labs were working on, because they never asked, and NIH hasnтАЩt told us.тАЭ

Sachs is emphatic about this: тАЬSo my point is, there is a huge amount of reason to believe that that research was underway. Because there are published papers on this. There are interviews on this. There are research proposals. But NIH isnтАЩt talking. ItтАЩs not asking. And these scientists have never asked either. From the very first day, they have kept hidden from view the alternative. And when they discuss the alternative, they donтАЩt discuss the research program. They discuss complete straw men about the lab, not the actual kind of research that was underway, which was to stick furin cleavage sites into SARS-like viruses in a way that could have created SARS-Cov-2.

What IтАЩm calling for is not the conclusion. IтАЩm calling for the investigation. Finally, after two and a half years of this, itтАЩs time to fess up that it might have come out of a lab and hereтАЩs the data that we need to know to find out whether it did.тАЭ

When you read this, you of course want to know more details about motives for the plot Sachs has uncovered. Sachs has an answer: тАЬOne thing that is rather clear to me is that there is so much dangerous research underway right now under the umbrella of biodefense or other things that we donтАЩt know about, that is not being properly controlled. This is for sure. And thatтАЩs happening around the world. And governments say тАШdonтАЩt poke your nose into that.тАЩ ThatтАЩs our business, not your business. But itтАЩs actually our business. ItтАЩs our business to understand what is going on with this. This is not to be kept secret. We donтАЩt trust you.

Let me put it this way: I donтАЩt trust them right now. I want to know. Because even what we know of the dangerous research is enough to raise a lot of questions of responsibility for the future. And to pose the question: тАШHey, what other viruses are you guys working on? What should we know?тАЩ Because no matter what the truth is on SARS-Cov-2, what is pretty clear is weтАЩve got so much technological capacity to engineer dangerous pathogens right now. And a lot of that is being done. And itтАЩs classified. ItтАЩs secret, and we donтАЩt know what it is. And I donтАЩt like that feeling at all. I donтАЩt recommend it for us and for the world.тАЭ

LRC readers wonтАЩt be surprised that the monster тАЬDr.тАЭ Anthony Fauci is in this up to his neck. тАЬThe alternative that is the right one to look at is part of a very extensive research program that was underway from 2015 onward, funded by the NIH, by Tony Fauci, in particular NIAID [National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases], and it was to examine the spillover potential of SARS-like viruses. The champions of this research explained in detail their proposals. But after the event, weтАЩd never asked them, тАШSo what were you actually doing? What experiments did you do? What do you know?тАЩ We somehow never asked. It was better just to sweep it under the rug, which is what Fauci and the NIH have done up until this point. Maybe they could tell us, тАШOh, full exoneration,тАЩ but they havenтАЩt told us that at all. They havenтАЩt shown us anything.

So thereтАЩs nothing тАШkookyтАЩ about it, because itтАЩs precisely what the scientists were doing. And then you can listen to the scientists on tape describing why they think the research program is so important, because they say these are dangerous viruses, and therefore we have to prepare broad spectrum vaccines and drugs. They explain itтАЩs not good enough to test one or two viruses. We have to test all of them. And then they came to realize, as I said earlier, that just having a SARS-like virus, if it doesnтАЩt have this piece of the gene, itтАЩs almost surely not going to be that effective. So they got around to the idea. тАШWell, letтАЩs put these in,тАЩ if you can imagine that. To my mind, itтАЩs mind-boggling.тАЩ

Sachs compares the biotech danger to the threat of nuclear war. тАЬI can tell you one thing that IтАЩve learned from talking to a lot of scientists in the last couple of years: the technological capacity to do dangerous things using this biotechnology is extraordinary right now. So I want to know whatтАЩs being done. I want to know what other governments are doing, too, not just ours. I want some global control over this stuff.

WeтАЩve kind of understood the nuclear riskтАФeven that, of course, is in a lot of ways hidden from view. But this is a clear and present risk. And thereтАЩs reason to believe weтАЩre actually in the midst of it, not just hypothetically. So come on: itтАЩs time to open the books everywhere. ItтАЩs time to find out. Maybe it was the marketplace. Maybe it wasnтАЩt a lab. But we need to get real answers, now. Not the kind of misdirection thatтАЩs been going in since February 2020. Enough nonsense! Enough New York Times stories saying, тАШOh, itтАЩs this, itтАЩs that,тАЩ without looking closely at the very plausible laboratory hypothesis.

ThereтАЩs more. As the great Murray Rothbard would have said, тАЬGet this!тАЭ тАЬThe most interesting things that I got as chair of the Lancet commission came from Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits and whistleblower leaks from inside the U.S. government. IsnтАЩt that terrible? NIH was actually asked at one point: give us your research program on SARS-like viruses. And you know what they did? They released the cover page and redacted 290 pages. They gave us a cover page and 290 blank pages! ThatтАЩs NIH, for heavenтАЩs sake. ThatтАЩs not some corporation. That is the U.S. government charged with keeping us healthy.

What I found is that we have a lot of data which weтАЩre not finding right now. And I donтАЩt want to have to rely on FOIA and leaks, though those can be incredibly informative. I want clear, independent scientific investigation and transparency. One way to do this would be a bipartisan congressional oversight investigation that had subpoena power. Give us your lab records, your notebooks, your data files of virus strains, and so forth. There are many questions that we need independent scientists to define, to tell us exactly the kinds of information. But we know right now weтАЩre operating in an environment in which the government is working to hide the data that we need to make a real assessment.тАЭ

In the past few years, Sachs has also called for a ceasefire in the Ukraine and an end to US economic sanctions against Venezuela. Somehow, I suspect you wonтАЩt be hearing much about Sachs anymore in the organs of the kept press.

LIFEтАж IN REVERSAL

By Kingsley L. Dennis

Source: Waking Times

тАШWe must distinguish between real change and fictitious change. The change that comes from without, from externally imposed training and discipline, is fictitiousтАжReal change comes from within, by conscious work intentionally performed by the being himself.тАЩ ~J.G. Bennett

It is increasingly difficult in these times to speak of тАШnon-verifiableтАЩ or unprovable matters, especially concerns of the spirit-consciousness, for too many people are inculcated with fixed beliefs and thinking patterns. This is itself a sign of social conditioning and of a certain тАШmanagement of mind.тАЩ We should not be surprised that this situation is rife throughout our societies and cultures and is becoming increasingly predominant. Social norms are persuading many people to prefer safety and security rather than the potential discomfort that comes from gaining new realizations and understanding.

An ex-officer of the Soviet secret police who defected to the West (Gregory Klimov), revealed that in the fields of Soviet psychological warfare (and social psychology) they utilized the principles of psychoanalysis. In this, they saw the phenomena of evil as a тАШcomplicated, complex social illness.тАЩ The psychoanalysts within the KGB equated evil with illness, especially an illness of the human psyche. This perspective places demonic actors and events as тАШobjective realities;тАЩ i.e., as various forms of illness of тАШpsyche and soul.тАЩ As the Russian anthroposophist G.A. Bondarev writes: тАШThe devils represents an┬аinvolved and complex process of degeneracy or retrogression that in the main consists of three parts: sexual deviation, psychic illnesses and some physical deformities of the organism.

The number of humans already afflicted with this degeneration is legion.тАЩ1 Bondarev goes on to say that, based on certain social-psychological testing, the greatest degeneracy exists within the so-called elite of the world (as much as 75%). What this points to, concludes Bondarev, is a drastic decline of the human spirit. What it also tells us is that the phenomenon of тАШevilтАЩ does not necessarily need to be personified or projected into certain personages as it represents an illness of the human psyche. We can recognize its presence operating within psychic imbalance and internal disconnect and detachment. And I would concur with BondarevтАЩs conclusion in that such psychic dis-ease represents an inner disconnect with the transcendental impulse. This disconnect, or splintering, from a sacred source has now come to signify the nature of the reversal that epitomizes much of contemporary life.

It is within this reversal that we see much of the negating, or counter-evolutionary, forces within humanity. And these forces have been dominating much of our everyday lives and continue to do so. I would suggest that it is our individual responsibility to recognize these forces, attempt to comprehend them, and to transform them into impulses that can work for humankindтАЩs evolvement. In this, we need to come to grips with the presence and activity of those aspects that signify a psychic illness, or dis-ease, within life. Such aspects are a feature of existence as much as positive, developmental forces. They all act within the playground of attraction, repulsion, and the expression of energy. The Rosicrucians recognized these forces when they referred to the Deus Inversus тАУ or the тАШReversed God.тАЩ This nature of reversal works on humanity through the spheres of imbalance and disharmony to counteract civilizational development. The Austrian mystic Rudolf Steiner was aware of the future impact of such forces when he stated that: тАШIt is essential that the forces which manifest as evil if they appear at the wrong place must be taken in handтАжin such a way that humanity can achieve something with these forces of evil that will be beneficial for the future of the whole of world evolution.тАЩ2 In this regard, it is important that the individual becomes aware of the metaphysical realm that lies beyond the threshold of normal, or every day, consciousness.

If we remain unawares to our own forces of spirit-consciousness, then we are more susceptible to the manipulations of such counter-developmental forces. Those readers familiar with my writings will know that I have attempted to draw attention to certain aspects of our consensus reality in order to gain greater clarity about how we may respond to the situation in a constructive way. I stand by what was written in the Gnostic Gospel of Philip: тАШFor so long as the root of wickedness is hidden, it is strong. But when it is recognized, it is dissolved. When it is revealed, it perishes.тАЩ Recognition, through heightened awareness and perception, brings more choice into play. The individual needs to be conscious of certain facts before they can manifest the correct intention and focus of will. What is needed is a culture of revelation тАУ of тАШuncoveringтАЩ тАУ rather than of cover up. It is through revelation that insight into the metaphysical foundation of life can be sustained within our increasingly materialistic societies. This access to metaphysical realities can never be wholly eradicated. Yet just a cursory glance at modern life indicates that there are attempts to deepen peoplesтАЩ immersion into deteriorating forms of dissonance and distraction. This can be seen as a form of reality deceit.

Reality Deceit

The great deceit that is coming upon us is the unveiling of a so-called тАШutopiaтАЩ based on the isolation of the human spirit-consciousness. This fake promise is wrapped up in tech-salvationist terms, heralding a false ideal future. The real dis-ease of the human condition is to be in a state of estrangement. That is, estranged and alienated from any metaphysical influence or nourishment. It is not that the metaphysical background to life must necessarily be obvious to us, or tangible in our daily lives тАУ only that we are cognizant of its existence and continual influence. Yet once this sense of recognition (the act of aware cognition) is dissolved, a barren soulless life is the result. And yet, in most circumstances, people will not be cognizant of this loss тАУ this lack of the transcendental impulse in their lives тАУ for they will be entrained into a reality consisting of a physical-digital mesh that keeps them attached to their lower nature and desires. This deceit consists of a most heinous form of enslavement, for it shall both be a willing one as well as an ignorant one. The splintering of the human being from its metaphysical connection shall go almost unnoticed, and the transfer into a reality of limited consciousness will have been enacted quite skillfully. This sly route to a human condition of alienation, procured through the guise of technological advancement and progress, will be a coup against the creative spirit. And this shall be the reversal of the human reality тАУ the reality deceit.

The almost imperceptible dangers are that we have been slipping into a┬аreversed reality,┬аconstructed through a realm of fantasy and make-believe, which now fuels the crass and superficial culture industries that dominate modern life. Any notion of Higher Reality has been twisted into an artificial lesser reality that attempts to hinder, as far as is possible, the developmental impulse from penetrating. This arrangement has culminated in dissociating humankind not only from its natural, organic, carbon-based environment, but also from an inherent contact with its origin тАУ Source consciousness. This increasing disembodiment is reflected in such forms as the techno-digital ecosystem, extended reality (the Metaverse), computerization (including algorithms), and artificial intelligence. For many people today, their digital devices have become their instruments of salvation. But this salvation, this divine deliverance, belongs to the┬аDeus Inversus┬атАУ and we should choose our gods carefully. We should be careful too, not to be pulled into the encroaching banalization of life. And we should be on the look-out for signs and signals.

If anyone wishes to see how тАШsignalsтАЩ can operate within the reality deceit, then watch all the episodes in the recent Westworld TV series (2016-2022). In Season Four, the machinic android тАШhostsтАЩ have taken control of the world using a bioengineered virus that infects humans over the course of a generation, turning them docile and susceptible to AI and тАШhostтАЩ control. Storylines and narratives are created in order to give people their roles and characters in life, which they passively follow believing them to be their own life stories. Humankind is managed through these manufactured тАШstorylinesтАЩ (a.k.a. socio-cultural narratives) that are transmitted directly to the minds and lives of humans through a series of radio-sonic transmission signals via the global technological infrastructureтАжBut then again, this is just a fantasy story after all.

The course of external events that inform our political, economic, and cultural systems are not arbitrary, coincidental or natural. The modern human has been subtly manipulated into disconnecting from, and even shunning, the guidance of higher impulses. We are being told that the human being alone is the sole and dominant driving force for the future. And by this, we are propelled ever further into the personality construct with the human ego at the wheel. We are standing at the threshold of adopting a glorified materialistic view of life and the world. The spell of this disease is working to over-materialize materialism in a very deliberate and nefarious way. There may be some discomfort in the unfoldment of awareness, yet this is part of the transmutation of the dis-ease.

Life тАШin reversalтАЩ is working hard and fast on this intensifying of materialism. This deepening materialism not only denies the expansion of consciousness but is actively working to stagnate it. At the same time, we are moving through an impulse of increasing individual awareness against the backdrop of this over-materialization. Yet it is an awareness through the few, and not the many (yet). By recognizing that certain forces within the world are using processes of mass suggestion to introduce a simplification тАУ or тАШdumbing downтАЩ тАУ of human consciousness, we can gain greater awareness over our condition and predicament. And in this awareness, we can gain a natural resistance and protection, as recognition allows a discernment to be made. It is this discernment to step away from the negating energies and frequencies of toxicity that can help a person to attune to a resonance of perceptive consciousness. By choosing where we place ourselves тАУ our focus and attention тАУ we can either take a step forward or stay where we are and stagnate. As always, the choice remains with us.

CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Leana WenтАЩs Evolved Position on Masking Children

Dr. Leana Wen was a vocal proponent of lockdowns, including mandatory masking of children in schools. Now she advocates choice. What happened?

By Jeremy R. Hammond

Among the more notorious advocates of authoritarian lockdown measures during the COVIDтАС19 pandemic has been Dr. Leana Wen, a medical doctor, former Baltimore health commissioner, contributing writer for the Washington Post, and CNN medical analyst.

She gained notoriety for explicitly advocating social punishment of unvaccinated people as a means of coercing them into getting vaccinated, even if they chose to remain unvaccinated because they had already acquired superior natural immunity. She based her position at the time on the false claim that the fCOVIDтАС19 vaccines would stop transmission of SARSтАСCoVтАС2, the coronavirus that causes the disease.

I discussed this in my article тАЬThe Official Ignorance of Natural Immunity to SARSтАСCoVтАС2тАЭ, which was the second installment of my multi-part series exposing how the тАЬpublic healthтАЭ and mainstream media establishments were systematically deceiving the public about natural immunity versus the effectiveness of vaccines to manufacture consent for the policy goal of achieving high vaccine uptake.

In that article, I documented how on March 12, 2021, Leana Wen declared on CNN that, for people who hadnтАЩt been persuaded yet to accept vaccination, тАЬwe need to make it clear to them that the vaccine is the ticket back to pre-pandemic life.тАЭ

Dr. Wen expressed deep concern that, with states already having begun to drop lockdown measures and open society up, тАЬthe window to do thatтАЭтАФmeaning to coerce people into getting vaccinatedтАФтАЬis really narrowingтАЭ. As she elucidated (emphasis added):

We have a very narrow window to tie reopening policy to vaccination status. Because otherwise if everything is reopened, then whatтАЩs the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine? So thatтАЩs why I think the CDC and the Biden administration needs to come out a lot bolder and say, тАЬIf you are vaccinated, you can do all these things. Here are all the freedoms that you have.тАЭ Because otherwise, people are going to go out and enjoy these freedoms anyway.

You can watch her advocate the systematic violation of individualsтАЩ right to informed consent in the video embedded in this tweet of hers:

The premise of her argument that people should be coerced into getting vaccinated was the falsehood that the vaccines would prevent transmission. This misinformation was also propagated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

As I also document in that article, the message that the vaccines would prevent transmission was implicitly communicated to the public with the CDCтАЩs declaration on March 8, 2021, that fully vaccinated people no longer needed to wear a mask or maintain social distancing in public or in private gatherings.

The message that natural immunity offered no protection against infection and transmission was also implicitly communicated by the CDCтАЩs refusal to inform people who had already recovered from SARSтАСCoVтАС2 infection that they had acquired immunity and therefore were at far lower risk of becoming infected and transmitting the virus.

New York Times headline celebrated the discrimination against unvaccinated people, including the naturally immune, with the headline тАЬLet the Unmasked Gatherings BeginтАЭ! The article quoted CDC Director Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky telling the public that тАЬa growing body of evidenceтАЭ told us that fully vaccinated people could resume normal activities тАЬat low risk to themselvesтАЭ, saying nothing about people whoтАЩd already recovered from infection being able to do so.

Dr. WenтАЩs comment on March 12 advocating coerced vaccination was part of a criticism of the CDCтАЩs policy update telling fully vaccinated people they no longer had to wear masks. Her concern was that unvaccinated peopleтАФincluding the naturally immuneтАФwould just act like they were vaccinated to be able to participate normally in society.

The CDC expanded its discrimination against other unvaccinated people on May 13, telling the public that once youтАЩve been fully vaccinated, тАЬyou can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.тАЭ The message to unvaccinated people with natural immunity, by contrast, was to тАЬfind a vaccine.тАЭ

In a Twitter post announcing the updated policy guidance, Walensky stated, тАЬIf you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can now start doing things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic. You can participate in indoor and outdoor activities тАУ large or small тАУ without wearing a mask or physically distancing.тАЭ

President Joseph R. Biden also took to Twitter to threaten, тАЬThe rule is now simple: get vaccinated or wear a mask until you do. The choice is yours.тАЭ That order went for naturally immune people, too.

Neither the CDC nor Biden were extreme enough in their efforts to systematically violate the right of individuals to informed consent with policy measures to coerce people into getting vaccinated, in Dr. WenтАЩs view.

The extremity of Leana WenтАЩs authoritarian position extended to her views on the masking of children.

On Twitter on May┬а28, 2021, Wen┬аadvocated mandatory masking┬аof unvaccinated childrenтАФincluding those with natural immunityтАФat summer camp.

The same day, she┬аcriticized┬аthe governor of Georgia for prohibiting schools from making mask use mandatory for children.

On June┬а14, she┬аmade a display┬аof her son Eli тАЬpracticing his mask-wearingтАЭ at home in anticipation of his first day of summer camp. (Note in the photo that the mask is not properly fitted, leaving large gaps at the side.)

On July┬а9, she┬аpraised┬аthe CDC for recommending mandatory masking of unvaccinated children. тАЬI am really glad that they have said that masks are going to be┬аrequired┬аfor unvaccinated children over the age of twoтАЭ, she said, describing mandatory masking as тАЬessentialтАЭ.

But then, within four months since telling fully vaccinated people that they no longer needed to wear a mask, the CDCтАЩs own data established that outbreaks could occur among fully vaccinated people. By the end of July 2021, it was already apparent that the emerging data were falsifying the repeatedly communicated message from the entire тАЬpublic healthтАЭ establishment that the vaccines would provide durable protection against infection and transmission.

That month, CDC researchers learned of a large outbreak in Massachusetts in which 74 percent of COVIDтАС19 cases were in fully vaccinated people. Furthermore, they observed that the amount of virus shed by vaccinated people was just as high as with the unvaccinated, implying equal contagiousness.

This finding prompted to CDC at the end of July to flip-flop and return to advising fully vaccinated people to start masking up once again.

Leana Wen took to the media to criticize the CDC again, this time for conveying what she felt was a confusing message by reversing its guidance. In a Washington Post article on July 29, Wen acknowledged the CDCтАЩs тАЬresearch showing that vaccinated people who become infected with the delta variant carry a similar amount of virus to those who are unvaccinated and infectedтАЭ, which тАЬsuggests that vaccinated people could be carriers and therefore capable of spreading the coronavirus to family membersтАЭ.

Her concern nevertheless remained тАЬthat the unvaccinated could be a dangerтАЭ to her and her family. By her dizzying reasoning, it was only because of тАЬunvaccinatedтАЭ people that she, a fully vaccinated person, тАЬcould contract the coronavirus and bring it back to my vulnerable family members.тАЭ

On Twitter, she summarized her criticism by describing the CDCтАЩs reversal as тАЬconfusingтАЭ and тАЬmuddledтАЭ, curiously arguing despite her acknowledgment of the data showing that fully vaccinated people were spreading the virus that indoor mask mandates were needed тАЬnot because the vaccinated are suddenly a problem, but because we donтАЩt trust the unvaccinated to voluntarily do the right thing.тАЭ

She did not explain how it could logically be the case that only unvaccinated people posed that risk to her given that vaccination did not work to stop transmission.

While acknowledgment of cellular immunity, as distinct from the humoral immunity provided by antibodies, had been practically nonexistent in the public messaging of the тАЬpublic healthтАЭ establishment until then, suddenly, in August 2021, the CDC and other тАЬauthoritiesтАЭ appeared to discover that, even if someoneтАЩs antibody levels waned and failed to protect them against infection, they would still be protected against severe disease and death due to cellular immune responses!

Curiously, that never crossed their mind when the public message was that natural immunity must be weak and short-lived since antibodies were observed to rapidly wane from peak levels seen post-infection.

It also never crossed their minds to inform the public that this rapid decline is normal and expected after recovery from acute infection. As I cover in great detail in my series on the superiority of natural immunity, the claims of short-lived natural immunity, propagated by the CDC and others, were falsified by studies demonstrating natural immunity to be robust, broad, and durable, with the induction of immunological memory capable of rapidly churning out antibodies as necessary in the event of reexposure.

The public messaging shifted from telling everyone to get vaccinated as a selfless social duty to protect others by preventing the spread of the virus to telling everyone get vaccinated to protect themselves against severe disease.

On CNN on August, 2021, Walensky reassured that the data continued to indicate that being fully vaccinated was protective against severe illness and death from the then-predominant Delta variant of SARSтАСCoVтАС2. тАЬBut what they canтАЩt do anymoreтАЭ, Walensky said, тАЬis prevent transmission.тАЭ

That was disingenuous. By saying тАЬanymoreтАЭ, she was implying that the loss of sterilizing immunity, meaning protection against infection and transmission (as distinct from protection against disease), was a function of the newly predominant Delta variant, but it was primarily a function of the vaccine and their inability to induce durable sterilizing immunity regardless of the variant.

Meanwhile, on major social media platforms, it remained prohibited to tell the truth. For example, Google continued its policy whereby YouTube videos saying that тАЬthat COVID-19 vaccines are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19тАЭ were subject to deletion and the users to deplatforming. (YouTube quietly dropped this and other prohibitions of truth-telling earlier this year.)

Leana Wen continued her advocacy of masking of children.

On August┬а10, she quoted a┬аNew York Times┬аarticle saying, тАЬIf we send children to school without masks, we increased their risk of acquiring #covid19. Some could suffer illness or die. If we close schools, millions of children will suffer learning lossтАж.тАЭ Her comment was, тАЬHence the solution: Keep schools open, with masking.тАЭ

Six days later, she┬аargued┬аin favor of masking children in тАЬall schools in this countryтАЭ. On August┬а16, she argued on Twitter that тАЬMasking in schools reduces #covid19 transmissionтАЭ and suggested that parents whose children go to schools that тАЬdo not require maskingтАЭ should organize to make mask-wearing тАЬthe normтАЭ.

On August┬а21, expressing agreement with a comment by former CDC director Dr. Tom Frieden, she┬аsaid┬аthat it was тАЬExactly rightтАЭ to equate being тАЬanti-maskтАЭтАФa euphemism inclusive of anyone opposed to┬аmandatory┬аmasking of childrenтАФwith being тАЬanti-scienceтАЭ and тАЬbasically pro-virus and anti-child.тАЭ

Fast forward to March┬а2020. By this time, Leana Wen had surrendered to the reality that the vaccines do not prevent transmission and that people needed to start getting back to living their lives normally anyway. On March┬а22, she said on Twitter, тАЬFor those who donтАЩt agree that the vaccinated can return to pre-pandemic normal, I ask: What should we all do? Perpetual masking? Forever not dining out, avoiding large weddings & indoor gatherings, etc? Virtually everything has risk, and zero covid is not a viable strategy.тАЭ

Now, recall that the CDC had been recommending that people wear cloth or surgical facemasks to protect themselves and others. The CDC had specifically told people not to wear an N95 mask in order to preserve them for health care workers. The CDC only stopped recommending the use of cloth masks in favor of surgical or N95 masks in January 2022.

Leana Wen bluntly alluded to the rationale for this change in a tweet on March┬а23, stating that тАЬsimple cloth masks are little more than facial decorationsтАЭ and тАЬhave no place against extremely contagious variantsтАЭ. People should тАЬideallyтАЭ opt for an N95, instead, she suggested.

This was not because тАЬthe scienceтАЭ on masks had тАЬchangedтАЭ. It was what many people were saying from the start. It was what many people on social media were banned for saying, just as many were banned for pointing out that the claims by тАЬpublic healthтАЭ officials that the vaccines would provide durable protection and stop transmission were unsupported by scientific evidence. To oppose the CDCтАЩs recommendation for children in school to wear a cloth mask was тАЬanti-scienceтАЭ, тАЬpro-virusтАЭ, and тАЬanti-childтАЭ, Wen had previously suggested.

Now she was admitting that simple cloth masks do practically nothing to protect the wearer or stop the wearer from spreading the virus to others. Her evolving position on mask use didnтАЩt stop there. She also came around to acknowledging another truth that opponents of the policies she advocated were banned from saying on social media: that forcing children to wear masks can harm them.

On August 23, the Washington Post published an article by Wen under the headline: тАЬIтАЩm a doctor. HereтАЩs why my kids wonтАЩt wear masks this school year.тАЭ

She stated, тАЬIt became clear that the goal IтАЩd hoped forтАФcontainment of covidтАС19тАФwas not reachable. This coronavirus is here to stay.тАЭ Her тАЬbenefit-risk calculusтАЭ for her own children had changed. тАЬI was willing to limit my childrenтАЩs activities for a year or two but not for their entire childhood.тАЭ

That it was a mistake to singularly focus on avoiding COVIDтАС19 is precisely what many people censored on social media had been saying when speaking out in opposition to the policies that Leana Wen had previously advocated. It was the central message of The Great Barrington Declaration, whose scientifically credentialed authors experienced censorship for speaking out against the authoritarian lockdowns.

Wen listed a number of ostensible rationalizations for her change of view on the masking of her own children. It was the Omicron variant now, which was more contagious and caused milder illness. Most people, including most children, had already been infected with the coronavirus. Her children were now fully vaccinated.

She continued:

Now that they are full vaccinated, we do not plan to limit their activities, andтАФlike most parents in their schoolтАФwill not be masking them in the classroom.

I accept the risk that my kids will probably contract covidтАС19 this school year, just as they could contract the flu, respiratory syncytial virus and other contagious diseases.

Then she disclosed another reason why she would no longer be forcing her own kids to wear a mask:

Masking has harmed our sonтАЩs language development, and limiting both kidsтАЩ extracurriculars and social interactions would negatively affect their childhood and hinder my and my husbandтАЩs ability to work.

While she had previously dismissed anyone who opposed the policies she advocated as not just тАЬanti-maskтАЭ but тАЬanti-scienceтАЭ and тАЬanti-childтАЭ, she added: тАЬTo be clear, my familyтАЩs decision not to mask our kids should not be mislabeled as being antimask; we would never stigmatize other parents and caregivers for the difficult choices they must make.тАЭ

That, of course, was a bald-faced lie. She had in fact stigmatized other parents for the difficult choices they must make about what is in the best interests of their childrenтАЩs health, calling them insulting names and advocating policies specifically to penalize them for making choices that were different from hers.

She closed by saying that her changed approach тАЬreflects the evolution of the pandemic and the acknowledgment that avoiding covid-19 cannot be the singular metric of peopleтАЩs overall health and well-being.тАЭ

That it was a mistake to singularly focus on avoiding COVIDтАС19 is precisely what many people censored on social media had been saying when speaking out in opposition to the policies that Leana Wen had previously advocated.

Yet here now we have this prominent advocate of mandatory masking of children in schools disclosing that her own child had been harmed from having to wear a mask all the time.

She disclosed additional details on Twitter. тАЬIn my case,тАЭ she┬аshared┬аon August┬а24, тАЬI have the тАШbeforeтАЩ and тАШafterтАЩ. After my sonтАЩs school went mask optional, there was a profound change in speech and social development after he (& nearly all of his class, including his teacher) took off masks.тАЭ

(Note that she observed this in reply to a comment criticizing that personal anecdotes do not establish causation, with the specific example cited of the belief of many parents that vaccination is what caused their childтАЩs autism. WenтАЩs appropriate point about gaslighting equally applies to parents of autistic children who likewise saw the тАЬbeforeтАЭ and тАЬafterтАЭ.)

She added, тАЬYes, this is anecdote. But it feels like gaslighting when others are telling parents that we donтАЩt know whatтАЩs causing problems for our kids, when we have seen it for ourselves. Recognizing that masks COULD have harm for SOME is all that a lot of parents are asking for.тАЭ

(Following up on the point about autism, note that then CDC Director Julie Gerberding admitted on CNN in 2008 that vaccination can cause encephalopathy manifesting as symptoms of autism. She was referring to the case of a girl named Hannah Poling, who had been developing normally but regressed into diagnosed autism after receiving nine vaccine doses at once at nineteen months of age. The long-time director of the CDCтАЩs Immunization Safety Office, Dr. Frank DeStefano, acknowledged in an interview in 2018 that тАЬitтАЩs a possibilityтАЭ that vaccines could cause autism in genetically susceptible individuals, but that the problem is itтАЩs тАЬhard to predict who those children might beтАЭ, and research designed to identify underlying cofactors that place certain children at greater risk of vaccine injury is тАЬvery difficult to doтАЭ.)

The same day, former US Surgeon General Jerome Adams took to Twitter to┬аdeny┬аthat masks can harm children. тАЬIтАЩm saying, after 2 years and millions masked, show me the data that says it delays speech. Because I canтАЩt find it.тАЭ

Of course, it is easy to say that evidence does not exist that forcing masks on children causes harm when policymakers forced masks on children in the absence of studies to determine the benefits versus risks.

In response to Adams, Wen┬аretorted, тАЬThose data donтАЩt exist yet. Neither do data that school mask mandates (especially w/cloth masks), in a time of omicron, saves lives. ThatтАЩs why where the US has landedтАФallowing individual choiceтАФis sensible. Allow parents to decide whatтАЩs best for their kids, masks on or not.тАЭ

Of course, that forcing children to wear masks could harm some of them was precisely what many people she had previously dismissed as тАЬanti-childтАЭ were saying from the start. It is among the concerns that social media companies prohibited people from expressing, citing the policy recommendations that Leana Wen advocated as the basis for their censorship.

To cite YouTube again as an example, the Google-owned video platform had long prohibited тАЬClaims that wearing a mask is dangerous or causes negative physical health effects.тАЭ This is among the prohibitions that YouTube has since dropped from its community guidelines.

It is an encouraging sign that an extremist like Dr. Wen can come around to the view that risk-benefit assessments need to be individualized and mask use voluntary, and it is good to see her confronting Jerome Adams for trying to gaslight parents into disbelieving their own experiences and empirical evidence. It is just sad that her son, by her own account, became harmed by the very intervention she had so fervently argued should be forced upon school children.

An apology from Wen to other parents of children harmed by the policies she advocated has not, to my knowledge, been forthcoming. Her son has my sympathies.

Exclusive: Dr. Robert Malone on Why HeтАЩs Suing the WaPo, Plus the Future of Corporate Media and WhatтАЩs Next for Fauci

In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Dr. Robert Malone discussed his defamation lawsuit against The Washington Post, why he thinks corporate media is тАЬalarmedтАЭ and where he thinks Dr. Anthony Fauci will go after he retires from his government jobs in December.

The Washington Post: Where Democracy Dies in Darkness

By Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.

Source: The Defender

Dr. Robert Malone, who helped develop the mRNA technology used in COVID-19 vaccines, is seeking $50.35 million in compensatory and punitive damages from The Washington Post for alleged defamation.

Malone, an outspoken critic of COVID-19 vaccines and countermeasures, on Aug. 19 filed a lawsuit against the newspaper, owned by Jeff Bezos, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

MaloneтАЩs defamation claims arise from a Jan. 24 article by The Washington Post тАФ тАЬA vaccine scientistтАЩs discredited claims have bolstered a movement of misinformation.тАЭ

The article, published one day after the тАЬDefeat the MandatesтАЭ rally in Washington, D.C., draws on MaloneтАЩs speech at the event.

Malone is demanding a jury trial.

In an exclusive interview with The Defender, Malone discussed the lawsuit, claims made about him by the mass media and also the establishmentтАЩs efforts to stifle so-called тАЬconspiracy theoriesтАЭ and тАЬmisinformation.тАЭ

Malone also discussed developments around MondayтАЩs announcement by Dr. Anthony Fauci that he will retire from his government positions in December.

Post took remarks from MaloneтАЩs тАШDefeat the MandatesтАЩ speech тАШout of contextтАЩ

MaloneтАЩs lawsuit describes him as тАЬan internationally recognized scientist/physician and the original inventor of mRNA vaccination as a technology, DNA vaccination, and multiple non-viral DNA and RNA/mRNA platform delivery technologies.тАЭ

According to the complaint, he is тАЬthe leading contributor to the [mRNA] science exploited by Pfizer and other pharmaceutical corporations to create the alleged тАШvaccinesтАЩ for the novel coronavirus.тАЭ

The lawsuit alleges, тАЬWaPo falsely accused Dr. Malone of fraud, disinformation, dishonesty, deception, lying to the American public, lack of integrity, immorality and ethical improprieties.тАЭ

тАЬThe gist of the article is that Dr. Malone is unfit to be a medical doctor and scientist [and] exposed Dr. Malone to public ridicule, scorn, and contempt, and severely prejudiced Dr. Malone in his employment,тАЭ the lawsuit states.

Malone told The Defender that while multiple mainstream media outlets have made defamatory statements against him, those published by The Washington Post were particularly egregious, resulting in the lawsuit.

тАЬWhat we have done together with my attorney is, we went through and identified the most high-profile, egregious defamatory statements in the major press outlets,тАЭ said Malone, listing stories published by The New York TimesThe AtlanticRolling Stone, and The Scientist, in addition to The Washington Post.

Malone sent cease-and-desist letters to the publications, which he said тАЬwere representationalтАЭ of the defamatory claims made against him in the mainstream media.

According to Malone, all five outlets тАЬdenied that there was any merit to our defamation and cease-and-desist request, denied тАЬany claims or liabilityтАЭ for anything they published about him and declined to take any action, such as retracting the articles in question or publishing corrections.

Out of these though, the story published by The Washington Post was the most extreme example of defamation, Malone said.

Malone told The Defender:

тАЬIn the case of The Washington Post, they had made these statements regarding what I had said on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and then also the usual тАШspreader of misinformationтАЩ [claim].

тАЬThey directly used terms like тАШlyingтАЩ [and] statements about misinformation. That just made it so that particular case was the most clear and the most compelling. And thatтАЩs why we decided to go with that one as the initial case.тАЭ

Malone added:

тАЬThey never used the term тАШdisinformation.тАЩ ItтАЩs always тАШmisinformation.тАЩ They rarely, if ever, identify what that тАШmisinformationтАЩ constitutes тАж they just throw it out as a characterization.тАЭ

According to Malone, The Washington Post took his remarks тАЬout of contextтАЭ and then тАЬrefutedтАЭ them тАЬwith information that the CDC had recently published on their MMWR [Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report] page, which is not peer-reviewed.тАЭ

The newspaper twisted his remarks that тАЬthe vaccines are not working,тАЭ he said:

тАЬWhat I clearly, unequivocally said is the vaccines are not working with Omicron. They are not preventing infection, replication and spread of this virus. I said nothing about death and disease, because I knew that was still controversial.

тАЬWhat The Washington Post did was call me a liar, because the CDC had published just recently тАж that the vaccines were still effective at reducing death and disease from the virus.тАЭ

According to Malone, тАЬThere are many videos of the speech, so this can all be played out in court. The speech was very consciously written, knowing that I was likely to be attacked by тАШfact-checkersтАЩ and others,тАЭ he said.

The lawsuit states that on June 7, Malone served The Washington Post тАЬwith written notice advising WaPo that the Statements in the Article were false and defamatory and demanding that the Statements be retracted and/or corrected and removed from the Internet,тАЭ which the newspaper refused to do.

Instead, according to the complaint, The Washington Post тАЬchose to increase Dr. MaloneтАЩs damages by republishing the Article,тАЭ an action Malone, in his interview with The Defender, characterized as тАЬadding even more fuel to the fire.тАЭ

The lawsuit quotes verbatim several specific instances of alleged defamation in The Washington Post article, including:

  • MaloneтАЩs claims have been тАЬdiscreditedтАЭ and his views constitute тАЬmisinformation.тАЭ
  • тАЬRobert Malone stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before thousands of anti-vaccine and anti-mandate demonstrators [and] repeated the falsehoods that have garnered him legions of followers.тАЭ
  • тАЬтАШRegarding the genetic COVID vaccines, the science is settled,тАЩ [Malone] said in a 15-minute speech тАж тАШThey are not working.тАЩ The misinformation came two days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released its first studies.тАЭ
  • MaloneтАЩs тАЬclaims and suggestions have been discredited тАж as not only wrong, but also dangerous.тАЭ
  • тАЬThere is a huge market for misinformation тАж The way heтАЩs framed in the conspiracy-theory world is that heтАЩs a courageous whistleblower rather than someone who is spreading misinformation тАФ and itтАЩs only enhancing his profile.тАЭ
  • тАЬWhile Malone is a brilliant scientist who has a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge about vaccines, there is reason to be concerned about how his newfound stardom could be a public health risk.тАЭ
  • тАЬThereтАЩs a risk weтАЩre all facing when heтАЩs not accurately representing the information.тАЭ
  • тАЬOn [the Joe Rogan Experience], he promoted an unfounded theory called тАШmass-formation psychosis,тАЩ telling Rogan that a тАШthird of the population [is] basically being hypnotizedтАЩ into believing what the mainstream media and Anthony S. Fauci report on the vaccine.тАЭ
  • тАЬMalone has weaponized bad research.тАЭ
  • тАЬWith his increased profile in recent weeks, some are calling on him to take a step back and reflect on the damage his misinformation is causing.тАЭ

Based on these statements, the lawsuit argues that тАЬthe qualities WaPo disparaged тАФ Dr. MaloneтАЩs honesty, veracity, integrity, competence, judgment, morals and ethics as a licensed medical doctor and scientist тАФ are peculiarly valuable to Dr. Malone and are absolutely necessary in the practice and profession of any medical doctor and scientist.тАЭ

The lawsuit alleges The Washington Post тАЬascribes to Dr. Malone conduct, characteristics and conditions, including fraud, disinformation, misinformation, deception and dishonesty, that would adversely affect his fitness to be a medical professional and to conduct the business of a medical doctor.тАЭ

In doing so, the lawsuit reads, тАЬWaPo was well-aware of Dr. MaloneтАЩs expertise and experience тАж intentionally ignored Dr. MaloneтАЩs credentials and stature, and chose to impugn his standing in the medical and scientific communities.тАЭ

Malone said The Washington PostтАЩs intentions were evident to him from the first time they reached out to him, prior to publishing the article. Referring to Timothy Bella, who authored the piece, Malone told The Defender:

тАЬ[There was] something about the way this guy was approaching it and the fact that it was The Washington Post. I knew [it] was absolutely not going to be a friendly story.

тАЬAnd so I said тАШno.тАЩ I was very careful not to say тАШnoтАЩ in any way that would prejudice him. But I just said it wasnтАЩt going to be possible.тАЭ

Malone referred to a prior experience being contacted by a reporter for The Atlantic before they ran a story about him, an experience that showed him how journalists from such media outlets often attempt to mislead individuals like him when first approaching them for an interview.

According to Malone:

тАЬWhat they do is, they say. тАШI just want to be your friend and put out your story.тАЩ They may say something to the effect that they acknowledge that IтАЩve been maligned in prior stories, and then they gain your confidence.

тАЬItтАЩs really a confidence game. We use the term тАШcon artistsтАЩ тАж and many of these journalists, in my opinion, that seek to gain oneтАЩs confidence in this way really are con artists. ThatтАЩs how they play it.тАЭ

According to Malone, Bella reached out to a colleague of his, who Malone infers is the same individual тАЬthat had made a negative comment in the Atlantic piece anonymously.тАЭ

The lawsuit addresses this, stating:

тАЬWaPo blindly relied upon and republished statements of тАШsourcesтАЩ that WaPo knew were unreliable, including sources known to be wildly biased and to have an ax to grind against Dr. Malone and who were intent on ruining his reputation.тАЭ

The lawsuit also describes how the newspaperтАЩs president, Stephen Hills, тАЬgot in on the calumnyтАЭ by┬аtweeting, in reference to Malone, that тАЬa vaccine scientistтАЩs discredited claims have bolstered a movement of misinformation.тАЭ

The lawsuit alleges:

тАЬReaders of the Article and followers of WaPo on Twitter immediately understood the [articleтАЩs] statements to convey the intended and endorsed defamatory gist and meaning: that Dr. Malone is a disreputable medical professional, that he should lose his license, that he is dishonest and dangerous, that he spreads lies and misinformation, and that he engages in fraud and disinformation.тАЭ

Such claims, тАЬincluding [the articleтАЩs] direct and powerful accusations of тАШfraudтАЩ and medical disinformation,тАЭ are considered тАЬfighting words,тАЭ which are actionable under Virginia law, the suit argues.

The scope of potential damage to MaloneтАЩs reputation is also estimated in the lawsuit, which states that тАЬin addition to publishing the Article in print and on its website, WaPo and its agents conspicuously published the Article to a third target audience тАФ 19,703,612+ Twitter followers.тАЭ

In addition, the lawsuit states, тАЬThe Article was republished millions of times in Virginia [the state where the suit was filed], including by WaPo and its agents and followers, by Politico and its agents and by many others, most notably Democratic Party operatives.тАЭ

WaPo coordinated false narrative with Biden administration, lawsuit alleges

Claims of political motivation on the part of The Washington Post figure prominently in the lawsuit, which alleges:

тАЬWaPo manufactured the story line and coordinated the false narrative with the Biden Administration and its agents and operatives with the specific purpose to target Dr. Malone.

тАЬWaPo did not seek the truth or report it. Rather, WaPo betrayed the truth for the sake of its institutional bias and desire to support the political operations and machinations of the Biden Administration.тАЭ

In his interview, Malone highlighted the significance of this particular aspect of the lawsuit. He said:

тАЬIf this [lawsuit] is allowed to proceed тАж what weтАЩre likely to see come out of discovery is further granularity about the interaction between The Washington Post and, by extension, a number of other corporate media outlets that are very aligned with the current administration and [its] political interests.

тАЬIf one can establish that these corporate media outlets were operating with directions and, in some cases, capitalization by the federal government, then we meet the criteria for those organizations acting as a surrogate for the federal government and тАж suppressing free speech on behalf of the government.тАЭ

This would carry constitutional implications, according to Malone:

тАЬThe federal government тАж cannot circumvent freedom of speech, First Amendment restrictions, by employing surrogates such as [the] corporate press or Big Tech.

тАЬWhat we observe is the remarkable alignment over time between the positions taken particularly by the Biden administration, but also going back to the Trump administration.

тАЬSo it transcends left and right. This is not a left versus right issue. This is an administrative state issue.тАЭ

ItтАЩs also a part of a broader pattern, according to the lawsuit, which refers to тАЬthe sheer number and nature of the hit pieces published by WaPo since 2020.тАЭ

According to the complaint, тАЬWaPo and its agents harbor an institutional hostility, hatred, extreme bias, spite and ill-will towards Dr. Malone and other medical professionals тАж who speak the inconvenient truth about COVID-19 and the so-called тАШvaccines.тАЩтАЭ

Doubling down on its claims, The Washington Post reprinted aspects of the story on several occasions, according to the lawsuit, including on July 30, in an article that тАЬfalsely repeated that Dr. Malone тАШspread discredited information about coronavirus vaccines.тАЩтАЭ

According to Malone, such republication тАФ especially once a cease-and-desist letter has been served to the publication тАФ тАЬconstitutes clear evidence of malice.тАЭ

The lawsuit argues it also violates the republication rule, upheld by Virginia legal precedent in Weaver v. Beneficial Finance (1957) and Moore v. Allied Chemical (1979).

Lawsuit: WaPo тАШacted with actual malice and reckless disregard for the truthтАЩ

MaloneтАЩs lawsuit seeks $50 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages, recovery of legal costs, and prejudgment and postjudgment interest of 6% per annum beginning on Jan. 24, the date the article was published.

In seeking these damages, the lawsuit alleges The Washington Post тАЬpublished the Statements with actual or constructive knowledge that they were false or with reckless disregard for whether they were false,тАЭ adding the newspaper тАЬacted with actual malice and reckless disregard for the truth.тАЭ

The lawsuit further claims Malone suffered тАЬinjury to reputation (past and future), insult, pain and mental suffering (past and future),тАЭ in addition to тАЬspecial damages, including lost income, career damage and impairment of future earnings capacity.тАЭ

Career damage includes тАЬlos[t] business and income, lost public appearances due to perceived reputational risk тАж and impact upon [MaloneтАЩs] prospects for career advancement.тАЭ

Malone told The Defender that The Washington Post article тАЬis often cited by physicians when presented with data from their patients about the risks of the [COVID] vaccine, and comments where patients are asking their physicians to just listen to what Dr. Malone has been saying.тАЭ

тАЬWhat they get back,тАЭ according to Malone, are claims that тАЬDr. Malone spreads misinformation, according to The Washington Post.тАЭ

As a result, Malone said, тАЬThe Washington Post article succeeded тАж in its intention, which was to delegitimize [me], at least for those that are wrapped up in this kind of groupthink world тАж to not have to account for the information that I have been sharing over the last year and a half.тАЭ

The lawsuit also cited defamatory postings made by Twitter users in response to The Washington Post article, claiming among other things that тАЬMalone is an anti-vaxx disinfo divaтАЭ and calling for medical professionals like Malone to тАЬstart losing licenses.тАЭ

According to the lawsuit, тАЬRead as a whole, the Statements represent an egregious attack on Dr. MaloneтАЩs character, experience, standing in the medical community, and the truth.

The lawsuit argues that тАЬDr. MaloneтАЩs mission is to ensure vaccine safety [and] his goal is to save lives,тАЭ and that he тАЬdiscovered short-cuts, database issues, obfuscation and, frankly, lies told in the development ofтАЭ the COVID-19 vaccines.

Malone said if he prevails, society stands to benefit more than he will personally:

тАЬAm I ever going to have my reputation corrected by prevailing in a lawsuit against The Washington Post? It would be minor. I think the proper term is тАШPyrrhic victory.тАЩ

тАЬBut in terms of the broader implications for our government and the American experiment, establishing that itтАЩs not acceptable for the government to employ its intelligence agencies or surrogates in the media to suppress information тАж would be a huge step forward for the right of free speech for individuals and super important as we move into this new media environment where things are not centralized тАж and where alternative voices are going to become among the most important information streams.тАЭ

Corporate media тАШalarmedтАЩ by loss of control over messaging

In his interview, Malone remarked on recent efforts by the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF), and also social media platforms, to further restrict and police тАЬconspiracy theoriesтАЭ and alleged тАЬmisinformation,тАЭ predicting that alternative voices will find themselves in a stronger position of prominence тАЬin the next couple of years.тАЭ

He told The Defender:

тАЬWe are now moving into a time where there is a great hunger for accountability.

тАЬI think the big underlying message here, as we look forward over the next two years, is going to be the slow erosion of the power of corporate, centralized corporate media and the emergence of a much more balkanized media landscape in which users select the information streams that they wish to subscribe to.

тАЬIt will be increasingly difficult to control the narrative in the way that itтАЩs been done in the past because of this balkanization.тАЭ

Major institutions and media outlets are increasingly alarmed by this, according to Malone:

тАЬI think that what we are not seeing [on the part of major media outlets and institutions] is a reaction to loss of message control.

тАЬDamage to the WEF is damage to [French President] Emmanuel Macron, damage to [Canadian Prime Minister] Justin Trudeau and the prime minister of New Zealand and the leadership in Australia. So all of that has to be controlled and they have to recapture control of the storyline.

тАЬYouтАЩre seeing a more global effort to recapture control of the messaging and the storyline by these global players that have been partially damaged.тАЭ

Malone highlighted the role of major investment funds like Vanguard, BlackRock and State Street, which due to their significant ownership stakes in multiple companies across many industries тАФ ranging from the media to banks to pharmaceuticals тАФ leads to a situation where they тАЬall function as one companyтАЭ due to their тАЬcommon ownership.тАЭ

Citing an example of such attempted control of the narrative, Malone argued that GoogleтАЩs search algorithms have recently altered the results of searches containing the term тАЬmass formation psychosis,тАЭ which he famously expressed during his interview with Rogan.

Malone said the Rogan interview is itself now тАЬvery hard to find, even though itтАЩs probably got well over 100 million views тАж you canтАЩt find it on Google.тАЭ

He described such actions as тАЬa concerted effort to deny the validityтАЭ of the тАЬmass formation psychosisтАЭ hypothesis, and of himself and other scholars who have promoted it, including researcher Mattias Desmet.

Malone cited recent attacks against professor of health policy Dr. Leana Wen, a CNN analyst who, ironically, is also a frequent Washington Post contributor.

Wen, who previously supported stringent COVID-19 countermeasures and vaccine mandates, has come under fire from her peers for now supporting a more moderate approach.

Fauci resigning early to avoid тАШwitch huntтАЩ?

Malone also addressed FauciтАЩs announcement Monday that he will step down from his position in December, rather than at the end of the Biden administration, as he had previously claimed.

Malone suggested that with the high likelihood that the House of Representatives, in particular, may flip to Republican control following the midterm elections, there is a strong chance there will be тАЬsignificant investigations in the House come January.тАЭ

According to Malone, тАЬThe common explanation is that Fauci got out of the job now so that he could avoid being called to testify by the new Congress in January.тАЭ

But Malone dismissed these claims. тАЬHeтАЩs going to be called no matter what,тАЭ he said.

Instead, by announcing a December departure, Fauci seeks to achieve two benefits, according to Malone. One possible benefit is that his departure will help the Democrats, because тАЬthe polling [likely] shows that Tony Fauci is a major problem for the Democratic Party heading into the midterms.тАЭ

The other potential benefit, Malone said, is that тАЬit will give him the opportunity to select his successor and get that successor confirmed prior to the new House and Senate being convened.тАЭ

A departure at that point could allow Fauci to entirely avoid providing Congressional testimony, according to Malone.

тАЬI suspect he steps up,тАЭ Malone said, тАЬThe pathway is the World Health Organization, a senior position at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, or CEPI [the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations].тАЭ тАЬThese are the pathwaysтАЭ followed by former public health officials from the U.S. and other countries, he said.

What this would mean, Malone told The Defender, is that Fauci тАЬmight well resist U.S. Congressional subpoenas for his testimony on the grounds that heтАЩs doing very important work on the world stage now and that he has no time to waste on Republican тАШwitch hunts,тАЩ or some sort of messaging like that.тАЭ

Digitizing Your Identity Is the Fast-Track to Slavery: How Can You Defend Your Freedom?

By Robert J. Burrowes

Throughout your lifetime, you or someone you trusted has unwittingly given up many aspects of your biometric and other personal data so that your digital identity can be created. Over time, this digital identity is being progressively defined and is replacing your actual physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual identity. What you are allowed to do, and not do, will increasingly depend on your technological identity rather than your moral character, intellectual and/or physical abilities, your emotional suitability, religious beliefs and the many other attributes that define your unique personality.

Starting with your birth certificate, which identifies your name, birth date and birth location, as well as parenting, an endless series of details about your personal life has been accumulated and stored, sometimes with your knowledge and consent. Far more often it has been done without either.

Do you remember having your photo taken for a student and/or employee identity card, your vehicle license and/or a passport? Do you remember being finger and/or palm-printed, submitting to an iris scan, agreeing to a recording of your voice, offering data for тАШtwo-factorтАЩ authentication, and requesting an ancestry search by submitting a sample of your DNA? Most often you had no choice: It was тАШlegally requiredтАЩ. Other times, you were probably offered something in return, such as admission to an educational institution, тАШsecureтАЩ access to an account or information you wanted. But whatever other price you paid, you also paid an тАШidentity costтАЩ.

Moreover, none of that information has ceased to exist and there is a lot more interest in it now than there was when you, or someone, innocently agreed to tender it all those years ago. And it is being added to all of the time with information you have surrendered or that has been obtained about you, up until this morning. In addition, it will be added to by information gathered about you tomorrow.

Your bank account(s), academic and employment records, health records (including vaccination record), legal record (including traffic violations), internet search history, and any other information compiled by or submitted to a government authority, corporation or other entity has been recorded, compiled and systematically stored in data banks of which you have never even heard. And they are being used to generate your тАШsocial credit scoreтАЩ which, depending on the country in which you live, is already or will be soon, used to determine what you can, and cannot, do.

In addition, facial recognition technology is vastly expanding the capacity of the surveillance state, and those corporations and entities that work with it, to identify and track you. And it is doing this already in the most obvious places such as on the street and in shopping centres. See, for example, тАШMicrosoft partners with banks to introduce facial recognition: More invasive technologyтАЩ.

Sometimes, an apparently desirable application is used as a trojan horse to have it introduced even more widely. See тАШAustralian clubs call for facial recognition tech to watch drinkers and gamblers: More privacy invasionтАЩ.

Beyond that, of course, existing technologies already enable many aspects of your unique identity to be imitated precisely. Think you voice is unique? Not once they clone it so they can present some technological imitation as your voice. See тАШVoice Cloning for Content CreatorsтАЩ.

And you are no doubt well aware of simple ways that photos of you can be replicated. Or altered by тАШphotoshoppingтАЩ, to put you in an entirely different context or location.

Does this matter?

This has all been done, fundamentally, so that one day soon now you can be locked in the technological prison that is being created around you. This technological prison, being promoted under the guise of тАШsmart citiesтАЩ, is being built around you as cities are converted to тАШsmartтАЩ by installing 5G and the other technologies necessary for comprehensive surveillance and control. But the Saudis are building a тАШsmart cityтАЩ in the desert too. You can watch their promotional video here: Neom.

Despite the positive spin endlessly put on these projects by governments and corporations тАУ see тАШSmart cities: The cities of the futureтАЩ тАУ the fundamental outcome is that you will require a digital ID to do those particular things that the elite has decided you will be allowed to do. And you wonтАЩt be able to do anything else. This is usually called тАШslaveryтАЩ except that, in this new technological world, virtually all of the slaves will be transhuman with no independent will of their own.

How has this happened?

In a report published by the World Economic Forum in 2016, the authors wrote тАШConsistent with the World Economic ForumтАЩs mission of applying a multiтАРstakeholder approach to address issues of global impact, the creation of this report involved extensive outreach and dialogue with the financial services community, innovation community, technology community, academia and the public sectorтАж. The mandate of this project was to explore digital identity and understand the role that Financial Institutions should play in building a global standard for digital identity. Identity is a critical topic in Financial Services today. Current identity systems are limiting Fintech innovation (as) well as secure and efficient service delivery in Financial Services and society more broadly. Digital identity is widely recognized as the next step in identity systems. However, while many efforts are underway to solve parts of the identity challenge and create true digital identity, there is a need for a concerted and coordinated effort to build a truly transformational digital identity system.тАЩ

See┬атАШA Blueprint for Digital Identity: The Role of Financial Institutions in Building Digital IdentityтАЩ.

By 2018, another report by the World Economic Forum was proclaiming тАШOur identity is, literally, who we are, and as the digital technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution advance, our identity is increasingly digital. This digital identity determines what products, services and information we can access тАУ or, conversely, what is closed off to us.тАЩ

See тАШIdentity in a Digital World: A new chapter in the social contractтАЩ.

But one primary motivation for their interest in digital identity was reported in a World Economic Forum article in August 2022. Citing research conducted by the consultancy Cebr тАУ see тАШThe digital trust indexтАЩ тАУ the World Economic Forum noted that тАШour global digital economy can unleash trillions of dollars of opportunities. But if we donтАЩt know for certain who we are interacting with online, we cannot have trust. Digital identity must therefore be the foundational element to our digital economyтАж.тАЩ Moreover, according to the WEF: тАШConsumers also told us they would trust banks and financial services firms the most to create and maintain an identity system.тАЩ

See тАШDigital trust: How to unleash the trillion-dollar opportunity for our global economyтАЩ.

Of course, the World Economic Forum is not the only institution planning our digital identity prison. In a 2019 report, the United Nations stated тАШWe recommend that by 2030, every adult should have affordable access to digital networks, as well as digitally-enabled financial and health services, as a means to make a substantial contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.тАЩ

See тАШThe Age of Digital InterdependenceтАЩ.

In addition, that long-standing bastion of economic exploitation known as the World Bank has had a long-running involvement in digitizing identity, publishing a report on the subject in 2017 which was updated in 2021 and, unsurprisingly, linked to its notion of тАШsustainable developmentтАЩ: тАШEvery person has the right to participate fully in their society and economy and to be recognized as a person before the law. Yet, as many as 1 billion people across the world do not have basic proof of identity, which is essential for protecting their rights and enabling access to services and opportunities.тАЩ

See тАШPrinciples on Identification for Sustainable Development: Toward the Digital AgeтАЩ.

This report goes on to outline a set of ten principles тАУ universal access, accuracy, security, privacyтАж тАУ to guide the nature of digital identity, in various categories, that sound wonderful.

But fundamental issues are left unaddressed.

Why the rights to participation in society and the economy, and recognition before the law, suddenly requires тАШbasic proof of identityтАЩ and is тАШessential for protecting their rights and enabling access to services and opportunitiesтАЩ is not explained. Nor is it explained why those same rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948 тАУ on which the world has so spectacularly failed to deliver since that time (and particularly for those billions of people marginalized by the global capitalist economy) тАУ will now be magically delivered by a digitized identity.

As is often the case, the delusional rhetoric sounds good despite being a vast distance from the truth.

But the World Bank continues its rhetoric in a more recent report: тАШVulnerable and marginalized groups are often the least likely to have proof of their identity, but also the most in need of the protection and services linked to identification.тАЩ

See тАШPrinciples on Identification for Sustainable Development: Toward the Digital AgeтАЩ.

Moreover, according to the World Bank, experience has supposedly тАШshown that there are key actions countries can take to unlock their own paradigm shift towards building digital ID and G2P [government-to-person] payments ecosystems that empower people and support sustainable development outcomesтАЩ.

See тАШIdentification for Development (ID4D) and Digitalizing G2P Payments (G2Px) Annual Report 2021тАЩ.

Really? How does this happen?

Of course, the documents go on to outline why identity is important to access certain rights and services тАУ banking, voting, owning property, particular transactionsтАж тАУ but do not specify why a digital version of identity is necessary. A sleight of hand made necessary by the complete absence of any genuine reason for moving beyond long-accepted means of establishing identity, where they are appropriately useful.

Beyond international organizations such as these, major Non-Government Organizations including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation, as well as corporations, are predictably behind the moves to digitize identity for reasons explained in the ID2020 Manifesto. For example, as Peggy Johnson of Microsoft Corporation noted: тАШтАж itтАЩs exciting to imagine a world where safe and secure digital identities are possible, providing everyone with an essential building block to every right and opportunity they deserve.тАЩ

See тАШID2020тАЩ and тАШID2020 ManifestoтАЩ.

Again, why rights and opportunities, theoretically long-ago enshrined in a multitude of human rights laws, should now somehow be accessed through a digitized identity is, obviously, not explained.

With such a predatory list of sponsors тАУ the World Economic Forum, World Bank, United Nations, major corporations, particular NGOs тАУ clearly endorsing digital identity and the complete absence from any consultation process of those of us who might identify (not digitally, of course) as тАШordinaryтАЩ people, it is obvious why those who understand the rapidly advancing technocratic agenda have issued a multitude of warnings about participating in the ongoing efforts to digitize your identity.

What, precisely, is at stake?

Your identity itself. Your freedom. Your privacy. Your human rights generally, including the right to choose what you eat and how you obtain it. And everything else that matters to you. Gone forever, if this global push is successful.

Let me explain this in a little more detail.

All over the world, countries have been implementing processes to digitize the identities of their citizens. Here, for example, are progress reports on what is happening in Nigeria and Greece: тАШNigeria will be a testing ground for MicrosoftтАЩs digital ID techтАЩ and тАШGreece rolls out digital тАЬwalletтАЭ for citizens; ID and driving license now on phoneтАЩ.

Beyond this, did you know that people in Australia started getting microchipped in 2016? See тАШAustralia Has Started Microchipping PeopleтАЩ and тАШAustralia Becomes WorldтАЩs Most Microchipped NationтАЩ.

But other countries, like Sweden, are not far behind. See тАШThousands of Swedish people are swapping ID cards for microchipsтАЩ.

And while digitizing your identity in this way might appear to be technologically savvy and even more convenient тАУ after all, opening a door without a key is a pretty slick move hey? тАУ the problem is that once your identity is linked to other more important functions, control of your life is soon easily taken from you.

As John Adams noted in a recent interview by Martin North, once you link a microchipped identity with the soon-to-be-introduced Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), the Central Bank can simply reprogram your personal chip (or the chips of millions of people) to prevent you from engaging in a particular type of commerce if you do not comply with whatever mandatory requirements are in force at the time. Beyond this, of course, what else will the chip be used to control? Do you know? Watch тАШAustraliaтАЩs banks want you MICROCHIPPED!тАЩ

And what if, as planned, your identity chip is linked to your driverтАЩs licence and your car? How far do you think you will be able to travel from home? To go shopping for food? To travel to work? Will you be allowed to go on holiday?

Beyond these simple examples, what if your digital identity is linked to your health records (including vaccination status), your legal records, and anything else they decide to add тАУ such as carbon credits тАУ so that you can be given a тАШsocial credit scoreтАЩ? Perhaps you will be deemed unsuitable to be a parent and have your children taken away.

But the answers to these questions, as well as others, are already known and you can watch a fuller explanation of just how securely you are already locked in this digital ID prison in this video presentation by technology expert Aman Jabbi тАУ see тАШFacial Recognition: Digital ID or Digital Dictatorship?тАЩ тАУ who spells it out in gruesome detail.

By the end of 2022, there will be more than twenty billion data collection (not just simple surveillance) cameras (of many types) in the world keeping track of the nearly eight billion people on Earth. As Jabbi observes: Under the guise of privacy, security and convenience, тАШWe are being monitored everywhere and all the timeтАЩ by the тАШInternet of Eyes and EarsтАЩ linked to artificial intelligence and a vast array of technological devices, such as smart street poles and lights which gather data via facial recognition cameras and environmental sensors, display digital signage, use speakers to instruct the immediate population how to behave, include тАШdrone charging stationsтАЩ because drones тАШare going to be the new aerial policeтАЩ with everything wirelessly connected to each other and the Internet of Things (IoT). This comprehensive network will be used to collect your data and control your behaviour, including by use of LED (light-emitting diode) incapacitators (which Jabbi calls тАШpuke gunsтАЩ) which emit high-intensity beams of different frequencies that can make you vomit or inflict other forms of behavioural control. In short, behavioural compliance will be enforced not by human guards, but by artificial intelligence and electromagnetic weapons.

The digital identity they say is a new chapter in the social contract. ItтАЩs a social contract that nobody signed up for and nobody wants. But they areтАж going to force this on us.

Every entity, person, device and thing is going to have a digital identity and once you sign on to a digital identity, the only way you can access healthcare or your bank finances, ability to travel, ability to access the internet, to go to social platforms or do anything in your life, to buy food, you need a digital identity. And how will that digital identity be authenticated? Through your face. So your face is the key to unlocking access to life.

And this key is going to be linked to a new type of financial system which is going to be a combination of carbon credits, your social credits or social scoreтАж тАШreputation capitalтАЩ, and then of course your status with respect to vaccines and boostersтАж. And if you donтАЩt have enough carbon score and you donтАЩt have enough social score or you havenтАЩt taken your latest booster, your face will not be able to unlock your digital identity and therefore you cannot access stuff.

YouтАЩll be locked out of the whole new matrix system. And this is what they call central bank digital currencies (CBDCs)тАж.

This is essentially the key to understanding what sort of a new world that is going to be upon us once the final switches are turned onтАж.

Your digital identity is really a digital prison and your face is used to unlock the digital prison if you behave wellтАж.

And how are they going to implement this? There is a new protocol called тАШZero Trust in Cyber SecurityтАЩтАж so by default we are going from a world of implicit тАШallowтАЩ to default тАШdenyтАЩ.

So as an example, when you log into your computer you type in a passwordтАж and you have access to your browser, your files, your applications but now this zero trust is about тАШdefault denyтАЩ which means тАШwe donтАЩt trust you and for everything you need to do youтАЩll be denied initially until you can prove that youтАЩre trustworthyтАЩ and that trust will come from face recognition and from digital identity. (If you want to read more about тАШdigital trustтАЩ, here is the Callsign report: тАШThe digital trust indexтАЩ.)

Beyond the above, by using тАШgeofencingтАЩ (both digitally and geographically), your access to everything, including who you can contact, how you can travel and how far, what media you can access or book you can readтАж can be controlled through your digital identity. тАШSo the goal is to lockdown humanity in these smart cities and not allow them to move anywhereтАж. So the digital identity is inside the Trojan horse of security and privacy. I canтАЩt stress this enoughтАж. And this will result in total control of humans because people will comply in order to unlock access to life.тАЩ In addition, тАШthey can even be monitoring the emotional state of a child and the algorithms can decide whether child abuse is happening at home and then they can come for the children, which they will.тАЩ

Jabbi also points out that in late April 2022, the World Economic Forum and the United Nations took over the internet which means that, soon enough, тАШIf you donтАЩt accept a digital ID, you cannot get onto the internet and you cannot open your phoneтАЩ. And he emphasizes that тАШBanning facial recognition means nothing because neither your government, nor your state or local officials are doing facial recognition so banning it is pointless because facial recognition is going to be done in the cloud on Amazon and Google servers with artificial intelligence algorithms, with cameras installed by private companies on public lands which are now owned by private corporations.тАЩ

Apart from Aman Jabbi, other scholars have also thoughtfully researched what is happening regarding digital identity and how it relates to other features of the overall elite plan.

After exhaustive research leading to their extensive report тАШPaving a Digital Road to Hell? A Primer on the Role of the World Bank and Global Networks in Promoting Digital IDтАЩ, scholars at the Center for Human Rights and Global Justice at the New York University School of Law concluded as follows in relation to digital ID:

As outlined in this primer, and as many of our partners and colleagues have documented, the World Bank and a wider network of global actors are promoting a specific model of digital ID. This model privileges economic identity, is disconnected from legal status, and steers attention away from civil registration. Contrary to the human rights and inclusive development language used to promote this vision of digital ID, this model threatens a range of fundamental rights, from the right to social security to the right to privacy. The purported benefits remain mostly unsubstantiated in the absence of serious baseline studies, cost-benefit and value for money analyses, and impact assessments. Meanwhile, researching and revealing the impacts of these systems has mostly been outsourced to an already overburdened and under-resourced community of human rights organizations, advocates, scholars, journalists, and other civil society actors.

The report includes three recommendations for addressing concerns about digital ID, given the transformational nature of the change intended: 1. detailed investigation and research, consideration (particularly of possible harms and their mitigation), cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments; 2. thorough discussion in democratic fora based on detailed knowledge of plans, actors involved in the scheme and roles played by foreign governments and international organizations; and 3. engagement of all stakeholders, including us, not just тАШtechnical expertsтАЩ in the deliberations.

Researcher Lynn Corey has also written an insightful four-part series of reports which are published on her website and as a book. In the second report тАУ see тАШThe Global Landscape on Vaccine ID Passports Part 2: How Your Digital Identity is Moving to The Blockchain for Full Control Over HumansтАЩ тАУ Corey identifies key players driving the long-term plan that is currently being implemented, particularly noting the importance of central banks but also other key elite agencies such as the World Economic Forum and United Nations. Their aim is to institute тАШcomplete digital controlтАж over the world and all human beingsтАЩ and Corey observes that different agents тАШhave their areas of expertise when it comes to building the digital identities, which is the key to making this all happen.тАЩ

Investigative journalist Jesse Smith bluntly observes:

With the evidence being provided openly, there is little reason to doubt that humanity is being ushered into a new era of surveillance and control through digital ID systems. This effort is being pushed by governments, banks, multinational corporations, and global governance organizations like the World Health Organization, World Trade Organization, and the United Nations.

But digital IDs only represent one aspect of the digital revolutionтАж.

A whole world is being created to enslave us in a perpetual digital panopticon including the metaverse, digital currency (CBDCs), mass surveillance, AI and biometrics, and body implants while blockchain technology records everything we do.

See тАШThe Global Digital ID Surveillance Plan Accelerates тАУ Urgent Resistance NeededтАЩ.

Beyond these scholars and organizations, there are other fine analysts who have explained why digital ID promises to inflict great harm on humanity. You can watch, for example, the excellent video report by James Corbett: тАШThe Global Digital ID PrisonтАЩ and read the critique by Derrick Broze тАШExposing The тАЬDigital ID Is A Human RightтАЭ ScamтАЩ.

These and other scholars, such as Peter Koenig тАУ see тАШDigital Identity тАУ Absolute and Total Control via the QR Code: Open Letter to the Swiss Federal CouncilтАЩ тАУ have also explained why there is zero intention to meaningfully engage тАШordinary peopleтАЩ in consideration of the plan: The explicit intention is to impose it on us.

In addition, we also have the experience of India to consider, as documented in the report тАШBusting the Dangerous Myths of Big ID Programs: Cautionary Lessons From IndiaтАЩ which offers this summary before going on to expose how IndiaтАЩs digital ID system, introduced some years ago, has spectacularly failed to deliver gains for тАШordinaryтАЩ people in twelve key areas, noting that тАШID systems often promise a technological solution for a political problemтАЩ.

Around the world, the quickly expanding тАШBig IDтАЩ industry has driven the adoption of centralized digital identity programs that severely undermine human rights. Governments, companies, and international agencies sell the idea of implementing a Big ID project as the silver bullet for solving a host of problemsтАж. without ever presenting evidence that these tools will actually be effective at meeting peopleтАЩs needs.тАж Aadhaar, IndiaтАЩs flagship Big ID project, is a clear example of this approach. Despite all the positive propaganda in its favor, Aadhaar has had a disastrous impact.

Despite the solidly documented negative experiences in relation to digitized identity and the many expert warnings against it, a range of powerful elite agents has a comprehensive program to impose this technocratic nightmare upon us. Consequently, it will require many people resisting strategically if it is to be defeated.

But if you remain sceptical of the risks and dangers of the technological world being constructed to imprison us, any time spent reading such books as the following should inspire you to consider ways to defend your true identity and, wherever possible, erase the existing elements of your digital identity, among many other responses: Shoshana ZuboffтАЩs The Age of Surveillance Capitalism: The Fight for a Human Future at the New Frontier of Power, John W. WhiteheadтАЩs Battlefield America: The War on the American People, Derrick BrozeтАЩs How to Opt-Out of the Technocratic State as well as the several books on technocracy written by Patrick Wood and his articles posted on his website тАШTechnocracy News and TrendsтАЩ.

The bottom line is simple: Every time you submit to participation in some technological convenience, you  give up some control over your own life. And there is no easy way to reclaim it, assuming that you even can.

What can we do about this?

First, remember that despite the rhetoric to which we are routinely subjected about digital identity and other aspects of the eliteтАЩs technological prison (benignly labeled measures to enhance our тАШprivacy, security and convenienceтАЩ), the vast range of inconsistencies, illogical arguments and ongoing efforts to kill or enslave us тАУ see тАШThe Final Battle for Humanity: It Is тАЬNow or NeverтАЭ in the Long War against Homo SapiensтАЩ тАУ are functions of elite insanity. See тАШThe Global Elite is Insane RevisitedтАЩ with further detail in тАШWhy Violence?тАЩ and тАШFearless Psychology and Fearful Psychology: Principles and PracticeтАЩ.

This does not mean that we do not face a profound threat. We do. But it means that we cannot rely on reason or thoughtfulness alone to get us out of this mess: You cannot reason with insanity. And because the Global Elite controls international and national political processes, the global economy and legal systems, efforts to seek redress through those channels must fail.

See тАШThe Elite Coup to Kill or Enslave Us: Why CanтАЩt Governments, Legal Actions and Protests Stop Them?тАЩ

Moreover, if we are going to defeat this long-planned, complex and multifaceted threat, we must defeat its foundational components, not delude ourselves that we can defeat it one threat at a time or even by choosing those threats we think are the worst and addressing those first.

This is because the elite program, whatever its flaws and inconsistencies, as well as its potential for technological failure at times, is deeply integrated so we must direct our efforts at preventing or halting those foundational components of it that make everything else possible. This is why random acts of resistance will achieve nothing. Effective resistance requires the focused exercise of our power. In simple terms, we must be тАШstrategicтАЩ.

If you are interested in being strategic in your resistance to the тАШGreat ResetтАЩ and its related agendas, you are welcome to participate in the тАШWe Are Human, We Are FreeтАЩ campaign which identifies a list of 30 strategic goals for doing so.

In addition and more simply, you can download a one-page flyer that identifies a short series of crucial nonviolent actions that anyone can take. This flyer, now available in 20 languages (Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish & Slovak) with several more languages in the pipeline, can be downloaded from here:

тАШThe 7 Days Campaign to Resist the Great ResetтАЩ.

If this strategic resistance to the тАШGreat ResetтАЩ (and related agendas) appeals to you, consider joining the тАШWe Are Human, We Are FreeтАЩ Telegram group (with a link accessible from the website).

And if you want to organize a mass mobilization, such as a rally, at least make sure that one or more of any team of organizers and/or speakers is responsible for inviting people to participate in this campaign and that some people at the event are designated to hand out the one-page flyer about the campaign.

If you like, you can also watch, share and/or organize to show, a short video about the campaign here:

тАШWe Are Human, We Are FreeтАЩ video.

Finally, while the timeframe for this to make any difference is now in doubt, if you want to raise children who are powerfully able to investigate, analyze and act, you are welcome to make

тАШMy Promise to ChildrenтАЩ.

Conclusion

Resisting the digitization of your identity is an important element of effective resistance to the EliteтАЩs тАШGreat ResetтАЩ program.

While there are some elements of this that are very difficult to avoid, such as facial recognition cameras that are virtually everywhere, it certainly includes not signing up for a digital identity or participating unthinkingly in those programs, such as using a QR code, getting a тАШvaccine passportтАЩ or willingly submitting to efforts to palm-print or microchip you, that are linked to it.

But, as I have already noted, just resisting digitization of your identity is not enough.

We must strategically resist the foundational components of the Elite program.

The alternatives are death or slavery.

RNA for ModernaтАЩs Omicron Booster Manufactured by CIA-Linked Company

Since late last year, messenger RNA for ModernaтАЩs┬аCOVID-19 vaccines,┬аincluding┬аits recently reformulated┬аOmicron┬аbooster,┬аhas been┬аexclusively manufactured by a little known company with┬аsignificant┬аties to┬аUS intelligence.

Earlier this week, the United Kingdom became the first country to approve ModernaтАЩs reformulated version of its COVID-19 vaccine, which claims to provide protection against both the original form of the virus and the significantly less lethal but more transmissible Omicron variant. The product was approved by the UKтАЩs Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) with the support of the UK governmentтАЩs Commission on Human Medicines.

Described by UK officials as a тАЬsharpened toolтАЭ in the nationтАЩs continued vaccination campaign, the reformulated vaccine combines the previously approved COVID-19 vaccine with a тАЬvaccine candidateтАЭ targeting the Omicron variant BA.1. That vaccine candidate has never been previously approved and has not been the subject of independent study. The MHRA approved the vaccine based on a single, incomplete human trial currently being conducted by Moderna. The company promoted incomplete data from that trial in company press releases in June and July. The study has yet to be published in a medical journal or peer reviewed. No concerns have been raised by any regulatory agency, including the MHRA, regarding ModernaтАЩs past history of engaging in suspect and likely illegal activity in past product trials, including for its original COVID-19 vaccine.

The approval comes shortly before several Western countries, including the UK, plan to conduct a massive COVID-19 booster vaccination campaign this fall. Moderna has also noted that approval for its Omicron booster vaccine are pending in the US, EU, Australia and Canada тАУ all of which are also planning fall vaccination campaigns focused on COVID-19.┬аThe companyтАЩs CEO, St├йphane Bancel,┬аhas called┬аthe┬аreformulated┬аvaccine тАЬour lead candidate for a Fall 2022 booster.тАЭ

However, unlike the companyтАЩs original COVID-19 vaccine, the genetic material, or messenger RNA (mRNA), for this new vaccine, including the newly formulated genetic material meant to provide protection against the Omicron variant, is being manufactured, not by Moderna, but by a relatively new company that has received hardly any media attention, despite its overt links to US intelligence. Last September, it was quietly announced that a company called National Resilience (often referred to simply as Resilience) would begin manufacturing the mRNA for Moderna COVID-19 vaccine products. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, тАЬResilience will produce mRNA for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at its facility in Mississauga, Ontario, for distribution worldwide.тАЭ

тАЬReinventing BiomanufacturingтАЭ

National Resilience was founded relatively recently, in November 2020, and describes itself as тАЬa manufacturing and technology company dedicated to broadening access to complex medicines and protecting biopharmaceutical supply chains against disruption.тАЭ It has since been building тАЬa sustainable network of high-tech, end-to-end manufacturing solutions with the aim to ensure the medicines of today and tomorrow can be made quickly, safely, and at scale.тАЭ It furtherplans to тАЬreinvent biomanufacturingтАЭ and тАЬdemocratize access to medicines,тАЭ namely gene therapies, experimental vaccines and other тАЬmedicines of tomorrow.тАЭ

In pursuit of those goals, the company announced it would тАЬactively invest in developing powerful new technologies to manufacture complex medicines that are defining the future of therapeutics, including cell and gene therapies, viral vectors, vaccines, and proteins.тАЭ It was founded with the reported intention тАЬto build a better system for manufacturing complex medicines to fight deadly diseasesтАЭ as a way to improve post-COVID тАЬpandemic preparedness.тАЭ

The company┬аinitially┬аmarketed┬аits┬аmanufacturing capabilities┬аas тАЬthe Resilience platformтАЭ,┬аand┬аoffers principally тАЬRNA ModalitiesтАЭ, including RNA development for vaccines, gene editing and therapeutics; and тАЬVirus ProductionтАЭ, including viral vectors, oncolytic viruses (i.e. a virus engineered to preferentially attack cancer cells), viruses for use in vaccine development and gene-edited viruses for unspecified purposes. It is worth noting that, to date, many controversial тАЬgain-of-functionтАЭ experiments have justified modifying viruses for the same purposes as described by National ResilienceтАЩs Virus Production capabilities. In addition, National Resilience offers product formulations and other modalities, such as biologics and cell therapies, to its clientele and the тАЬVirus ProductionтАЭ of its website has since been removed.

National Resilience, being such a young company, has very few clients and there is little publicly available information on its manufacturing capabilities aside from the companyтАЩs website. The firm only acquired its first commercial manufacturing plant in March 2021, located in Boston, MA and purchased from Sanofi, followed shortly thereafter by the acquisition of another separate plant located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Makeovers were announced for the plants, but little is publicly known about their progress. Prior to the acquisitions, the company had been subleasing a Bay area facility in Fremont, California. Reporters were puzzled at the time as to why a company with roughly 700 employees at the time had acquired a total of 599,00 square feet of manufacturing space after having only emerged from stealth less than 6 months prior.

In April 2021, National Resilience acquired Ology Bioservices Inc., which had received a $37 million contract from the US military the previous November to develop an advanced anti-COVID-19 monoclonal antibody treatment. This acquisition also provided National Resilience with its first Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory and the ability to manufacture cell and gene therapies, live viral vaccines and vectors and oncolytic viruses.

Despite being in the earliest stages of developing its тАЬrevolutionaryтАЭ manufacturing capabilities, National Resilience entered into a partnership with the Government of Canada in July of last year. Per that agreement, the Canadian government plans to invest CAD 199.2 million (about $154.9 million) into National ResilienceтАЩs Ontario-based subsidiary, Resilience Biotechnologies Inc. Most of those funds are destined for use in expanding the Ontario facility that Resilience acquired last March and which is now manufacturing the mRNA for ModernaтАЩs COVID-19 products. CanadaтАЩs Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, Fran├зois-Philippe Champagne, asserted at the time that the investment would тАЬbuild future pandemic preparednessтАЭ and help тАЬto grow CanadaтАЩs life science ecosystem as an engine for our economic recovery.тАЭ More recently, in 2022, the company has announced a few new clients тАУ Takeda, Opus Genetics and the US Department of Defense.

According to National ResilienceтАЩs executives, the companyтАЩs ambitions apparently go far beyond manufacturing RNA and viruses. For instance, Resilience CEO Rahul Singhvi has claimed that the company is seeking to build тАЬthe worldтАЩs most advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem.тАЭ Yet, Singhvi has declined to offer much in the way of specifics when it comes to exactly how the company plans to become the planetтАЩs most elite biomanufacturing company.

In an interview with The San Francisco Business Times, Singhvi states that Resilience is looking to fill its massive manufacturing plants with тАЬtechnologies and people that can set and apply new standards for manufacturing cell therapies and gene therapies as well as RNA-based treatments.тАЭ Prior to Resilience, Singhvi was CEO of NovaVax and an operating partner at Flagship Pioneering, which played a major role in the creation and rise of Moderna.

Singhvi has further insisted that National Resilience is тАЬnot a therapeutics company, not a contractor and not a tools companyтАЭ and instead aims тАЬto boost production using the new therapeutic modalitiesтАЭ such as RNA-based treatments, which have become normalized in the COVID-19 era. Whereas contract manufacturers тАЬare like kitchens, with pots and pans ready for any recipe,тАЭ тАЬwhat weтАЩre trying to do is fix the recipes,тАЭ Singhvi has explained. One member of ResilienceтАЩs board of directors, former FDA Commissioner and Pfizer Board member Scott Gottlieb, has described the company as seeking to act as the equivalent of Amazon Web Services for the biotechnology industry.

Essentially, Resilience bills itself as offering solutions that will allow тАЬfuturisticтАЭ medicines, including mRNA vaccines, to be produced more quickly and more efficiently, with the apparent goal of monopolizing certain parts of the biomanufacturing process. It also appears poised to become the manufacturer of choice for mRNA vaccines and experimental therapeutics in the event of a future pandemic, which some public health тАЬphilanthropistsтАЭ like Bill Gates have said is imminent.

Perhaps the companyтАЩs most noteworthy ambition relates to their claims that they support clients through the government regulatory process. Given the companyтАЩs emphasis on speedy mass production of experimental gene therapies, its stated intention of getting the тАЬfuturisticтАЭ medical products it manufactures to market as quickly as possible seems at odds with the slower, traditional regulatory processes. Indeed, one could easily argue that the approvals of mRNA vaccines for the first time in human history during the COVID-19 crisis were only possible because of the major relaxing of regulatory procedurse and safety testing due to the perceived urgency of the situation.

Resilience seems intent on seeing that phenomenon repeat itself. As previously mentioned, the company claims to allow for the setting and application of тАЬnew standards for manufacturing cell therapies and gene therapiesтАЭ and also says it plans to become a тАЬtechnology-aggregating standards bearer that helps therapies come to market more efficiently.тАЭ It previously offered on its website тАЬregulatory supportтАЭ and тАЬstrategy consultingтАЭ to clients, suggesting that it would seek to mediate between clients and government regulators in order to fulfill its goal of having the products it manufactures taken to market more quickly. In addition, upon launch, the company claimed it planned to obtain unspecified тАЬregulatory capabilities.тАЭ If so, it is certainly notable that former top Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials are either on the companyтАЩs board or, as will be noted shortly, played a major role in the companyтАЩs creation.

The People Behind Resilience

Resilience┬аwas co-founded by Biotech venture capitalist Robert Nelsen, who is┬аknown for┬аlistening тАЬto┬аscienceтАЩs earliest whispers, even when data are too early for just about anyone else.тАЭ Nelsen was one of the earliest investors in Illumina,┬аa California-based gene-sequencing hardware and software giant that is believed to currently dominate the field of genomics. As┬аmentioned in a┬аprevious┬аUnlimited Hangout┬аinvestigation, Illumina is closely tied to the DARPA-equivalent of the Wellcome Trust known as Wellcome Leap, which is also focused on тАЬfuturisticтАЭ and transhumanist тАЬmedicines.тАЭ Nelsen is now chairman of National ResilienceтАЩs board, which is a тАЬWhoтАЩs WhoтАЭ of big players┬аfrom┬аthe US National Security State, Big Pharma and Pharma-related тАЬphilanthropy.тАЭ

However, while Nelsen has been given much of the credit for creating Resilience, he revealed in one interview that the idea for the company had actually come from someone else тАУ Luciana Borio. In July of last year, Nelsen revealed that it was while talking to Borio about тАЬher work running pandemic preparedness on the NSC [National Security Council]тАЭ that had тАЬhelped lead to the launch of NelsenтАЩs $800 million biologics manufacturing startup Resilience.тАЭ

At the time of their conversation, Borio was the vice president of In-Q-tel, the venture capital arm of the CIA that has been used since its creation in the early 2000s to found a number of companies, many of which act as Agency fronts. Prior to In-Q-Tel, she served as director for medical and biodefense preparedness at the National Security Council during the Trump administration and had previously been the acting chief scientist at the FDA from 2015 to 2017.

Borio is currently a senior fellow for global health at the Council on Foreign Relations, a consultant to Goldman Sachs, a member of the Bill Gates-funded vaccine alliance CEPI, and a partner at NelsenтАЩs venture capital firm ARCH Venture Partners, which funds Resilience. NelsenтАЩs ARCH previously funded Nanosys, the company of the controversial scientist Charles Lieber. Around the time of her conversation with Nelsen that led to ResilienceтАЩs creation, Borio was co-writing a policy paper for the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security that recommended linking COVID-19 vaccination status with food stamp programs and rent assistance as a possible means of coercing certain populations to take the experimental vaccine.

Borio is hardly ResilienceтАЩs only In-Q-Tel connection, as the┬аCEO┬аof In-Q-Tel, Chris Darby, sits on the companyтАЩs board of directors.┬аDarby is also on the board of directors of the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation.┬аDarby was also recently a member of the National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI), where members of the military, intelligence community and Silicon ValleyтАЩs top firms┬аargued for the need┬аto reduce the use of тАЬlegacy systemsтАЭ in favor of AI-focused alternatives as a national security imperative. Among those тАЬlegacy systemsтАЭ┬аidentified by the NSCAI┬аwere in-person doctor visits and even receiving medical care from a human doctor, as opposed to an AI тАЬdoctor.тАЭ The NSCAI also argued for the removal of тАЬregulatory barriersтАЭ that prevent these new technologies from replacing тАЬlegacy systems.тАЭ

Another notable board member, in discussing ResilienceтАЩs intelligence ties, is Drew Oetting. Oetting works for Cerberus Capital Management, the firm headed by Steve Feinberg who previously led the PresidentтАЩs Intelligence Advisory Board under the Trump administration. Cerberus is notably the parent company of DynCorp, a controversial US national security contractor tied to numerous scandals, including scandals related to sex trafficking in conflict zones. Oetting is also part of the CIA-linked Thorn NGO ostensibly focused on tackling child trafficking that was the subject of a previous Unlimited Hangout investigation.

Oetting is also the co-founder of 8VC, a venture capital firm that is one of the main investors in Resilience. 8VCтАЩs other co-founder is Joe Lonsdale and Oetting тАЬstarted his careerтАЭ as LonsdaleтАЩs chief of staff. Lonsdale is the co-founder, alongside Peter Thiel and Alex Karp, of Palantir, a CIA front company and intelligence contractor that is the successor to DARPAтАЩs controversial Total Information Awareness (TIA) mass surveillance and data-mining program. In addition, Oetting previously worked for Bill GatesтАЩ investment fund.

Also worth noting is the presence of Joseph Robert Kerrey, former US Senator for Nebraska and a former member of the conflict-of-interest-ridden 9/11 Commission, on ResilienceтАЩs board. Kerrey is currently managing director of Allen & Co., a New York investment banking firm which has hosted an annual тАЬsummer camp for billionairesтАЭ since 1983. Allen & Co. has long been a major player in networks where organized crime and intelligence intersect, and is mentioned repeatedly throughout my upcoming book One Nation Under Blackmail. For instance, Charles and Herbert Allen, who ran the firm for decades, had considerable business dealings with organized crime kingpins and frontmen for notorious gangsters like Meyer Lansky, particularly in the Bahamas. They were also business partners of Leslie WexnerтАЩs mentors A. Alfred Taubman and Max Fisher as well as associates of Earl Brian, one of the architects of the PROMIS software scandal тАУ which saw organized crime and intelligence networks cooperate to steal and then compromise the PROMIS software for blackmail and clandestine intelligence-gathering purposes. Allen & Co. was a major investor in BrianтАЩs business interests in the technology industry that Brian used in attempts to bankrupt the developers of PROMIS, Inslaw Inc. and to market versions of PROMIS that had been compromised first by Israeli intelligence and, later, the CIA.

In addition to these intelligence-linked individuals, the rest of ResilienceтАЩs board includes the former CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Susan Desmond-Hellmann; former FDA Commissioner and Pfizer board member, Scott Gottlieb; two former executives at Johnson & Johnson; former president and CEO of Teva Pharmaceuticals North American branch, George Barrett; CalTech professor and board member of Alphabet (i.e. Google) and Illumina, Frances Arnold; former executive at Genentech and Merck, Patrick Yang; and Resilience CEO Rahul Singhvi.

To Boost or Not to Boost

It is certainly telling that the normally publicity hungry Moderna has said so little about its partnership with Resilience and that Resilience, despite its ambitious plans, has also avoided the media limelight. Considering ModernaтАЩs history and ResilienceтАЩs connections, there may be more to this partnership that meets the eye and concerned members of the public would do well to keep a very close eye on Resilience, its partnerships, and the products it is manufacturing.

Given that we now live in a world where government regulatory decisions on the approval of medicines are increasingly influenced by corporate press releases and normal regulatory procedures have fallen by the wayside for being too тАЬslow,тАЭ there is likely to be little scrutiny of the genetic material that Resilience produces for the тАЬmedicines of tomorrow.тАЭ This seems to be already true for ModernaтАЩs recently retooled COVID-19 vaccine, as there has been no independent examination of the new genetic sequence of mRNA used in the Omicron-specific vaccine candidate or its effects on the human body in the short, medium or long term. For those who are skeptical of the outsized role that intelligence-linked companies are playing in the attempted technological тАЬrevolutionтАЭ in the medical field, it is best to consider ResilienceтАЩs role in the upcoming fall vaccination campaign and in future pandemic and public health scenarios before trying its тАЬfuturisticтАЭ products.
